SEO Services for Real Estate Businesses

What we do for real estate businesses.

Quavento Technologies provides SEO for real estate businesses: brokerages and agents, developers and builders, rental agencies and property managers. We improve how a business appears when people search for property in its area, organise its website so that search engines can read every listing and project, and plan content that reflects real local knowledge. We work from Pune with Indian businesses and remotely with businesses in the United States.

Property search is crowded. On most searches for homes in a city, the first results belong to large portals that spend heavily on listings, content and links. A single agent or a mid-sized developer will not displace them for broad terms, and a plan that promises otherwise is not honest.

This page explains where a property business can realistically win in search, what the work involves and how it differs from other industries. We have not published SEO results in real estate, and we guarantee no ranking. What we offer is a plan that begins with the opportunities where a local business has an honest advantage.

Guide

What you should know.

Can a smaller property business compete with the portals?

Not head to head, and not for the broadest terms. Portals have millions of listings and a large share of attention for searches such as flats for sale in a big city. Spending a year chasing those terms is the most common mistake in property SEO.

The opportunities are narrower and better. A search with a specific locality, a specific project name, a specific building or a specific kind of property often has fewer strong pages answering it, and a local business that knows the answer can compete. Brand searches, where someone types your name after hearing about you, should always lead to you.

So we begin by listing the searches that would bring the buyers you want and checking who currently ranks for each. We keep the ones where a well-made page from a local specialist could realistically do better, and we say clearly which searches we would leave to the portals.

How do locality pages work, and how do they go wrong?

A good locality page tells a buyer or renter something they cannot get from a listing: what the area is like, how the commute works, what the typical property types are, what is being built nearby, how the area has changed and what to check before choosing it. It is written by someone who knows the place and updated when things change.

The failure is the template. Hundreds of near-identical pages with the locality name swapped, each saying nothing in particular, are thin content, and Google's guidance on scaled content abuse targets exactly that kind of page. They tend to be ignored at best and can harm the wider site at worst. Our content SEO page explains the standard we write to.

We therefore recommend fewer pages that are genuinely good. Five thorough pages for the areas where you sell most are worth more than fifty thin ones. Each links to your current listings in the area, so that a reader who likes the neighbourhood can see what you have.

  • Written from real local knowledge, not a template.
  • Specific facts a visitor can check, with the date reviewed.
  • Photographs taken by your own team where possible.
  • Links to current listings and projects in the area.
  • Fewer, better pages instead of hundreds of thin ones.

How should project pages be handled for developers?

A project goes through stages, and its search presence should follow. Before launch, people search for the name once it has been announced. During sales, they search the name with words such as price, floor plan, reviews, location and possession. After completion, the same page becomes a resource for resale and rental enquiries.

A single, permanent address for each project avoids splitting strength across several versions. The page answers the questions in the searches above, carries the registration details where the rules require them, and links to the developer's other projects. When a project sells out, the page stays, marked clearly, and points to what is still available.

Developers often run a separate microsite for each launch and abandon it later. That wastes the links and mentions it has earned. We prefer to keep each project as a section of the main site where practical, or to redirect a retired microsite properly. Our on-page SEO page describes the page-level work.

How does local search help agents and offices?

A great deal, because property is local and many people search with the word near me or a locality name. Those searches show a map with a few businesses before any website. An agency with a complete, accurate Google Business Profile for each real office has a place in that map.

A profile needs the correct category, address or service area, opening hours, a description of what you handle, genuine photographs, and links to the right pages. Details must match your website and directory listings. A business with several offices needs a profile and a page for each real one, and not for rented desks with no staff, which breaches Google's rules.

Reviews are the strongest local signal. We set up a simple, honest routine for asking clients for them and for replying politely, and we never write, buy or filter reviews. Our local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation pages describe the method, and our Google reviews guide covers the routine. The same approach worked for the Shruti IT Service Google Business Profile, a local service business, not a property firm.

What happens to listings that sell or expire?

They create a quiet problem on property sites. Every listing is a page, and listings come and go constantly. If sold properties are deleted, visitors and search engines hit error pages. If they all stay with no sign they are sold, visitors waste time and trust drops.

We set a policy per type of page. A sold or let property can stay for a while with a clear label and links to similar available ones, then redirect to the nearest relevant category or locality page. Listings that duplicate each other, such as the same flat advertised by two agents or by several projects, are consolidated so that one address is the main version.

Search engines also need to find new listings quickly. A sitemap that updates automatically, internal links from category and locality pages and sensible filter pages help. Filters that generate thousands of near-identical addresses are controlled so that a crawler does not waste its time. Our technical SEO page describes how.

Which technical details matter for a property site?

Speed on mobile is the first, because property pages carry many photographs. Pages that load slowly lose visitors and perform worse in search. Image handling, lazy loading and efficient scripts usually make the largest difference.

Structure is the second. Each page needs a clear title and description, one main heading and an address that makes sense. Structured data can describe the business, its offices and its people, and for listings it can describe the property as it appears on the page. We use markup only for what is genuinely shown, and we do not mark up self-selected testimonials to obtain star ratings, which Google does not accept for a business's own site.

Third, the basics of access and security: HTTPS, a working sitemap, no accidental blocks and no broken links from old projects. Where a site is built with a framework that renders pages in the browser, we check that search engines can see listings. The wider SEO services page explains the general method, and our SEO audit is a good first step.

How do AI answers change property search?

More people now ask an assistant for a summary of an area or a comparison of two neighbourhoods, and the answer cites sources it judges reliable. Those sources tend to have a clear, factual answer near the top, a named author, specific details and a recent date.

Locality pages written by a person who knows the place suit this well. A page that says plainly how long the commute to a business district takes at different hours, what the water supply situation is, or what the monsoon does to a particular road is more likely to be cited than one full of adjectives. Our AI search optimisation guide explains how these systems pick what to quote.

We would add one caution. An assistant can repeat an out-of-date price or a sold property if your site still shows it. Keeping listings current helps buyers and keeps your name accurate wherever it is quoted.

What should a property business expect, and when?

Gradual progress. Corrections to a Google Business Profile and directory listings can show within weeks. Specific locality and project pages usually take one to three months to begin appearing, and a durable local reputation takes six months to a year of steady work. These are typical ranges, not promises, and they vary with competition and the state of the site.

We report each month on what reaches the business: calls, enquiry forms, direction requests and the searches and pages that produced them, with ranking positions as supporting detail. We guarantee no ranking, and Google itself says no one can. Our guide to SEO cost in India explains what a business should receive for the fee.

SEO also works best on a sound website, so we may recommend fixing your property website first. If your goal is faster enquiries, performance marketing can run alongside. The industry overview is on our real estate page.

Pricing & engagement

How do pricing and engagement work?

SEO runs as a monthly retainer with defined deliverables, and an audit on its own is a fixed-price project. We quote in rupees for Indian businesses and in US dollars for American ones. The retainer depends on the number of offices and localities, the number of projects, the amount of local content each month and the size of the listing database. We suggest an initial six months and then month to month. Your Google Business Profile, Search Console, analytics and website remain in your ownership, and we publish nothing that you have not read.
