Research before changes
We combine analytics with heatmaps, recordings, surveys and user tests to understand why visitors hesitate, not just where.
Find out why visitors leave without enquiring or buying, fix the biggest obstacles first and prove what works with data.
Most websites lose the majority of their visitors without any result. People arrive from search, ads and social media, look around and leave without enquiring, booking or buying. Businesses often respond by spending more on traffic, but if the website converts poorly, more traffic simply means more money spent on visitors who leave. Improving the share of visitors who take action, the conversion rate, usually makes every other marketing channel more profitable at the same time.
Conversion rate optimization (CRO) is the structured process of understanding why visitors do not convert and systematically removing the obstacles. It is not about changing button colours at random or copying competitors. Real CRO combines quantitative data from analytics, showing where people drop off, with qualitative insight from heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, user tests and sales conversations, showing why. Those insights become hypotheses, which are prioritised by expected impact and effort, then implemented and, where traffic allows, tested to confirm the improvement.
Our conversion rate optimization services run this process for lead generation websites, ecommerce stores, SaaS products and landing pages. We audit tracking so the numbers can be trusted, analyse funnels and user behaviour, identify friction in messaging, design, forms, checkout, speed and trust, and deliver prioritised recommendations. We then design and implement changes, run A/B tests where they are statistically meaningful, and report on the business impact. For businesses with low traffic, we focus on research-led improvements and careful before-and-after measurement.

We combine analytics with heatmaps, recordings, surveys and user tests to understand why visitors hesitate, not just where.
Conversion tracking is checked and fixed before analysis, because decisions based on broken data waste effort.
Every idea is scored by expected impact, confidence and effort, so the biggest opportunities are tackled first.
Most Indian traffic is mobile, so layouts, forms, speed and payment flows are optimised for phones first.
Changes are validated with A/B tests when traffic allows, or measured carefully when it does not.
We measure qualified leads, sales, revenue per visitor and average order value, not just clicks.
Designers and developers implement recommended changes, so insights do not sit in a report.

Conversion rate optimization is the practice of increasing the percentage of visitors who complete a desired action, such as submitting an enquiry, booking a demo, making a purchase or signing up. It uses research and data to identify obstacles and opportunities, then improves pages, content, forms and journeys, measuring the effect on conversions and revenue.
If a website converts two visitors in every hundred, doubling traffic doubles cost as well as conversions. Improving the conversion rate increases results without paying for more visitors, and it improves the return from every channel at once: SEO, paid ads, social media and email. It also lowers acquisition costs, which allows businesses to bid more competitively for ads.
Conversions should reflect business value. Primary conversions include purchases, qualified enquiries, demo bookings, applications and calls. Secondary or micro conversions, such as adding to cart, starting a form, downloading a brochure or clicking WhatsApp, help diagnose where people drop off. We define both with you, and where possible connect conversions to CRM or sales data, so optimisation favours valuable outcomes rather than easy clicks.
CRO research combines several sources.
Across many websites, similar problems appear: an unclear value proposition, weak or missing proof, slow mobile pages, confusing navigation, long or intimidating forms, unexpected costs at checkout, limited payment options, missing information such as delivery times or pricing guidance, lack of trust signals and calls to action that do not match visitor intent. Research shows which of these matter most for your audience.
There are always more ideas than time. We document each as a hypothesis, stating what we will change, for which visitors, why we expect it to help and how we will measure it. Hypotheses are scored using frameworks that weigh potential impact, confidence based on evidence and effort to implement. High-impact, well-evidenced and easy changes go first. This keeps the programme focused on results.
For lead generation, CRO focuses on clarity, trust and ease of enquiry: strong headlines matching search intent, clear service explanations, proof such as reviews and credentials, visible phone and WhatsApp options, short forms with helpful microcopy, and fast follow-up promises. Lead quality matters too, so we measure qualified leads from the CRM rather than raw form submissions. Our landing page design and website copywriting services often support these improvements.
Ecommerce CRO looks at the full path: home and category pages, search and filters, product pages, cart, checkout and post-purchase. Common improvements include clearer product information and images, visible delivery dates and return policies, size guides, reviews, simpler checkout, guest checkout, UPI and cash on delivery options, address autofill and reassurance at payment. Metrics include conversion rate, average order value and revenue per visitor.
A large majority of Indian web traffic comes from mobile phones, often mid-range devices on variable networks. Pages that are slow, crowded or hard to use with one thumb lose many visitors. Mobile CRO focuses on fast loading, clear hierarchy, large tap targets, sticky calls to action, simple forms with the right keyboards, OTP autofill and smooth payment flows. Our website speed optimisation service addresses performance.
A/B testing is the most reliable way to prove a change caused an improvement, but it needs enough traffic and conversions to reach meaningful results. High-traffic sites can test frequently. Lower-traffic sites benefit more from research-led improvements, larger changes, testing on the highest-traffic pages only and careful before-and-after comparisons that account for seasonality and campaigns. Our A/B testing service covers experiment design in detail.
Visitors need reasons to believe you. Effective trust signals include genuine customer reviews and ratings, recognisable client types or logos with permission, certifications and registrations, clear contact information and physical address, transparent pricing or pricing guidance, guarantees and return policies you honour, secure payment indicators and real photos of your team and work. Placement matters: proof works best near the decision point.
Forms are often where interested visitors give up. Reducing fields to essentials, using clear labels, allowing autofill, showing helpful error messages, splitting long forms into steps and explaining what happens next can significantly improve completion. At the same time, one or two qualifying questions can improve lead quality. Field-level analytics show which fields cause abandonment.
Quick wins, such as fixing broken elements, clarifying calls to action or removing obvious friction, can show results within weeks. A full programme builds improvements cumulatively over months, with each research and testing cycle adding learning. Results depend on traffic volume, the size of changes and how quickly changes can be implemented.
Not when done properly. Testing tools should not hide content from search engines or create duplicate pages, and changes should keep important content, headings and internal links intact. Many CRO improvements, such as faster pages, clearer content and better user experience, support SEO. We coordinate changes with SEO considerations and follow search engines’ guidance on testing.
We measure changes in conversion rate for primary goals, qualified leads or revenue, revenue per visitor, average order value, funnel step completion and segment performance. Results are compared against baselines and, where possible, controlled tests. Monthly reports summarise experiments, results, learnings and next priorities. Our marketing dashboards service can provide ongoing visibility.
These mistakes waste time and can mislead decisions.
Useful inputs include access to analytics, tag manager and your website or store, clear business goals and margins, information about your customers and sales process, common questions from sales and support, any past research or tests, and a way to implement changes quickly, either through your team or ours.
For SaaS products, conversion happens in stages: visiting the website, starting a trial or demo, activating by reaching the first moment of value, and converting to paid. CRO examines each step, including pricing page clarity, sign-up friction, onboarding flows, empty states and trial reminders. Improving activation often has more impact on revenue than increasing sign-ups. Our SaaS product development team can implement in-product changes.
Paid traffic is expensive, so landing pages deserve special attention. We check that headlines match ads and keywords, the offer is clear above the fold, proof is visible, forms are short and pages load quickly. Separate landing pages for different audiences or ad groups often convert better than one generic page. Improvements here reduce cost per lead directly.
Costs depend on website size and complexity, research depth, user testing, the number of experiments per month, design and development effort, tooling and reporting. Initial research is often a fixed project, followed by a monthly programme. Testing and analytics tool subscriptions are separate.
CRO usually starts with a research and audit project, followed by a monthly optimisation programme that includes design, development and testing. Tool subscriptions are separate.
