Quavento Technologies provides SEO services to businesses in Los Angeles. We work remotely from Pune, India, using search data and tools set to Los Angeles locations, and meet clients in our Pacific Time windows. Our work covers technical SEO, content, Google Business Profile and local listings, and reporting built around calls, bookings and sales.
Search in Los Angeles is shaped by the region's size. Los Angeles County contains dozens of incorporated cities and many unincorporated communities, and people search by those names: Pasadena, Burbank, Torrance, Santa Monica, Glendale, Long Beach. A business that ranks well in one part of the region can be invisible a few freeway exits away.
Categories here are also crowded and well funded. Personal injury law, cosmetic medicine, real estate, home services and restaurants are among the most contested search markets in the country. This page explains how to compete in that landscape without wasting money on searches you cannot win.

Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. In Los Angeles, distance is measured across a sprawling region, and searchers often include a city or neighborhood name: dentist in Pasadena, roofer in Torrance, sushi in Sawtelle. Each of those is effectively a separate local market with its own competitors.
That shapes strategy. A business with one location should aim to dominate the map results in its own city and the neighborhoods around it, then extend that reach gradually through reviews, links and content. Trying to rank across the whole county for a general search is usually wasted effort.
We measure where you appear today using rank checks from a grid of points around your location, which shows exactly how far your visibility reaches, and repeat the measurement monthly to show progress.
Contractors, plumbers, movers, cleaners, mobile detailers and other businesses that travel to customers make up a large share of LA search. Google allows them to hide their address and list the areas they serve, but the map results still favor businesses closer to the searcher, so a single profile cannot cover the whole region equally.
The workable approach combines a strong profile with location pages for the areas that matter most to you. Each page should show real work in that area: projects completed, local building types, permit requirements in that city, typical response times. A remodeler's page about hillside homes in the Hollywood Hills, with their access and permit issues, deserves to rank.
What does not work is a set of pages that change only the city name, or extra Google profiles for addresses where you have no real presence. Both break Google's guidelines, and fake listings are routinely suspended.
Because the stakes are high and competitors invest heavily. A single client in personal injury law, cosmetic surgery or luxury real estate can be worth a great deal, so firms in those fields spend large sums on SEO and advertising. They have years of content, strong links and polished sites.
Competing with them head-on for the broadest searches rarely pays off for a newer or smaller business. The opportunity lies in specific searches that larger competitors neglect: a particular procedure, a specific type of case, a neighborhood, a question customers ask before they are ready to buy. Pages that answer those well, with real expertise, rank sooner and convert better.
As an illustration, a newer med spa in Sherman Oaks will struggle to rank for Botox Los Angeles, but can realistically win searches about specific treatments in its own area, written with its practitioners' input and accurate about risks and recovery.
Completeness and accuracy. The most specific primary category, the services you actually offer, accurate hours including holidays, attributes such as accessibility and payment options, and real photographs of your premises, team and work. Parking information is worth adding in a city where it decides whether customers come.
Reviews matter more than almost anything else, both for ranking and for the customer's choice. We set up a routine for asking every customer, by text or email after the visit, and we help you reply to each review in a consistent voice.
Your business details must match everywhere: your website, Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places and industry directories. Inconsistent addresses or phone numbers, often left over from a previous location, confuse both customers and search engines.
A great deal. A large proportion of Los Angeles County residents speak Spanish at home, and the region has major Korean, Armenian, Chinese, Filipino and Persian communities. Many people search in their own language for health, legal, financial, insurance and home services, where understanding matters most.
Competition in those languages is far lighter than in English. A dental practice in Koreatown with well-written Korean pages, or an immigration attorney in East LA with thorough Spanish content, can reach clients that English-only competitors never see.
We research what people actually type in each language, which is rarely a translation of the English phrase, have pages written by native speakers, give each language its own URLs and mark them correctly for search engines. Your Google profile can also list the languages your staff speak.
For many categories, Yelp, Healthgrades, Zocdoc, Avvo, Houzz, Thumbtack and similar platforms hold several of the top results. A complete, well-reviewed profile on the platforms your customers use is one of the fastest ways onto the first page, and many customers check them before calling.
Each platform has its own rules. Google lets you ask customers for reviews but not offer incentives. Yelp discourages asking at all and filters reviews it considers solicited. We set up each profile within its rules and keep details consistent.
Your own site then does what platforms cannot: explain your approach, show your work and answer detailed questions. That depth is how a local business competes for the specific searches that bring the best customers.
Links from respected local sources tell Google a business is part of its community. In LA those include neighborhood news sites, city and regional chambers of commerce, business improvement districts, local nonprofits, schools, universities and industry associations.
They are earned by taking part and by being useful: sponsoring a community event or youth team, contributing expert commentary to local reporters, publishing original information about your field in the region, or partnering with complementary businesses. Each produces mentions a competitor cannot simply buy.
We identify opportunities, prepare material and handle outreach. Where physical presence is needed, at an event or a chamber meeting, we tell you which ones are worth your time, since we cannot attend for you.
Visual businesses often have heavy sites: large images, autoplay video and animation that look impressive on a studio monitor and load slowly on a phone. Since most local searches happen on mobile, speed problems cost both rankings and customers.
Other frequent issues include several old websites for the same business competing with each other, booking handled entirely on a third-party site so the main site has little content, location pages with duplicate text, and missing or incorrect structured data for the business, its services and its locations.
Our audit lists each issue with its fix in order of impact. Accessibility problems often overlap with technical ones, which matters in California, where accessibility claims carry statutory damages. If a rebuild is the better option, our web design for Los Angeles page explains our approach.
The analytical and technical work, yes. Rank tracking from points across the region, technical audits, keyword research with Los Angeles data, profile management and content planning are done with tools that work the same anywhere.

SEO is a monthly retainer in US dollars with stated deliverables, and an audit on its own is a fixed-price project. The retainer depends on the number of locations or service areas, the competitiveness of your category in your part of the region and the content needed, including any additional languages. We suggest an initial six months, after which the arrangement continues month to month. Your Google Business Profile, Search Console and analytics remain in your ownership.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
| US time zone | Examples | Call window |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (ET) | New York, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina | 9 am to 1 pm ET |
| Central (CT) | Texas, Illinois, Tennessee | 8 am to 11 am CT |
| Mountain (MT) | Colorado, Utah, Arizona | 8 am to 10 am MT |
| Pacific (PT) | California, Washington, Oregon | 8 am to 9 am PT, or 5 pm to 7 pm PT |
For general local searches, no one honestly can, because map results depend heavily on distance from the searcher. We work to make you the top result in your own area and steadily extend how far that reaches.
Profile and technical fixes can show results within weeks. Competing in a crowded LA category typically takes four to eight months of steady work on reviews, content and links, and longer for the most contested fields.
Only where you can say something real about working there, such as projects completed, local requirements or response times. Pages that differ only by city name are treated as doorway pages and rarely rank.
Often, in Los Angeles. If part of your customer base searches in Spanish, well-written Spanish pages usually face much less competition than English ones. We research demand first.
No. We work remotely from Pune, India, with tools set to Los Angeles locations and calls between 8 am and 9 am or 5 pm and 7 pm Pacific. We do not claim to be a local agency.
For restaurants, salons, home services and many consumer businesses, yes. We claim and complete the profile and follow Yelp's rules, which discourage asking customers for reviews.
Through tracked calls, form submissions, bookings and direction requests from search, reported monthly alongside rankings on the map and in standard results.
