Quavento Technologies is a digital marketing and development agency that works with businesses in Seattle, Washington. We plan and run search, paid media, social and content marketing, and we design and build websites, online stores, custom software and mobile apps. We work remotely from Pune, India, hold calls between 8 am and 9 am or between 5 pm and 7 pm Pacific Time and price in US dollars.
Seattle is a technology city with a working waterfront. Some of the largest software and cloud companies in the world are based in the region, and around them are thousands of smaller firms, many started by people who left the big ones. The same city has fishing fleets, a major port, outdoor and coffee brands known everywhere, a large nonprofit and global health sector and neighborhoods with a strong sense of themselves.
This page explains what we do for each of these, how working with a team twelve and a half hours ahead plays out in practice, and where we are not the right choice.

Through written plans, shared tools and a fixed time to talk. Pune is twelve and a half hours ahead of Seattle in summer and thirteen and a half in winter, which is close to the opposite side of the clock. We offer calls early in your morning, between 8 am and 9 am, or at the end of your day, between 5 pm and 7 pm.
The rest runs asynchronously, which Seattle's technology companies will find familiar. Work is tracked on a shared board. Decisions are written down. Questions left at the end of your day are answered by the time you start the next one, and work requested in the afternoon is often done by morning.
This arrangement suits teams that are comfortable with written communication. It does not suit a business that wants someone to drop by, attend events or shoot photographs and video on site. We have no office in Seattle or anywhere in the United States, and for work that depends on physical presence a local firm is the better choice.
Starting with who buys and how. Seattle's software companies sell cloud infrastructure, developer tools, data products, security and business applications. Their buyers are technical, skeptical of marketing language and inclined to try a product before speaking to anyone.
For that audience, the website has to say precisely what the product does, show it working and let an engineer get started without filling in a form. Documentation is part of marketing. Content that teaches something real, such as a detailed technical article or a worked example, earns attention where slogans do not.
Larger deals still involve a buying committee, and for those we build the material that helps a champion make the case internally: security information, comparisons, return calculations and case studies published with permission. Paid campaigns on search and LinkedIn are targeted by role and company. We measure by sign-ups, activated accounts and pipeline, connected to your CRM. See SEO for Seattle for search in more depth.
A store and a story that hold together. The region is known for outdoor clothing and equipment, coffee, chocolate, seafood, beer, wine and cider, and for brands that care about how things are made. Their customers tend to be well informed and wary of exaggeration.
We build online stores, mostly on Shopify, with product pages that give real detail: materials, construction, sourcing, fit and care. Paid social and search bring new customers, and email brings them back. For coffee and other consumables, subscriptions are central and must be easy to manage.
Claims about sustainability deserve care. Federal guidance on environmental marketing expects claims to be specific and supported, and vague words such as eco-friendly invite trouble. We write what you can substantiate. See ecommerce development for Seattle and Shopify development for Seattle.
With respect for limited budgets and many audiences. Seattle has a large nonprofit community, from global health and development organizations to environmental groups, arts institutions and neighborhood services. Each must speak to donors, funders, the people it serves, volunteers and the press.
We build websites that explain the mission and the evidence of impact clearly, with donation forms that are short and work on a phone, and connections to the donor database. Year-end giving campaigns combine email, social and search. Eligible nonprofits can receive free search advertising through Google's grant program, which has its own rules, and we manage those accounts.
Organizations working in health or with vulnerable people hold sensitive information, and tracking tools on their websites need particular scrutiny. Charities that solicit donations in Washington generally register with the state, and other states have their own requirements. Your counsel advises on those. We offer nonprofits the same care as any client and are straightforward about what a given budget can achieve.
By being the obvious choice nearby. Seattle is a city of distinct neighborhoods, such as Ballard, Fremont, Capitol Hill, West Seattle and Columbia City, and across the lake are Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland, with Tacoma to the south and Everett to the north. Water and bridges make people reluctant to travel far for everyday services, so search here is very local.
We manage your Google Business Profile, build pages for your services and the areas you really cover, help you gather reviews honestly and run local search advertising. Calls and forms are tracked to their source so that you can see what produced work.
The climate shapes demand. Months of rain mean roof cleaning and moss treatment, gutter work, drainage, crawl space and mold problems, and exterior painting squeezed into a short dry season. Few older homes have air conditioning, and hotter summers have increased demand for heat pumps. Contractors in Washington must be registered with the state, and we show your registration number, which customers are advised to check.
They need to be found by the right few. The region's fishing fleets, shipyards, marine suppliers, seafood processors, freight forwarders and manufacturers sell to other businesses, often through relationships built over decades. Many have websites that have not changed in as long.
A new generation of buyers searches first. We build clear sites that state capabilities, certifications, equipment and service areas, with specifications that can be found and downloaded and a simple way to request a quote. Search work focuses on the specific terms buyers use, which are few in number and valuable.
Companies trading across the Pacific sometimes need pages in other languages, written by fluent writers. Seafood companies selling to consumers and restaurants need an online store with cold shipping, covered on our ecommerce page. We do not handle technical data controlled under export regulations, which excludes some aerospace and defense supplier work, and we say so at the start.
Websites, stores, software and apps. Marketing websites are built on Next.js or WordPress, designed for speed, accessibility and editing by your own staff, as described on our web design for Seattle page.
Custom software includes first product versions for founders, portals, internal tools and integrations, covered on our custom software for Seattle page. Phone and tablet apps are on our mobile app development for Seattle page.
Whatever we build belongs to you. Code is kept in your repository, accounts are in your company's name and our agreement assigns intellectual property on payment. We use mainstream technology so that an in-house team or another firm can take over without difficulty.
Several that are stricter than in most states, and worth knowing about. Washington has a law protecting consumer health data that reaches far beyond hospitals. It covers information that could reveal a person's health, including some browsing and location data, requires separate consent to collect or share it and allows individuals to sue. Any business in wellness, fitness, nutrition or similar fields should have its tracking reviewed.
The state's commercial email law prohibits misleading subject lines, and has been used against retailers over promotional emails that overstated urgency. We write subject lines that say what is true. Washington has also extended its sales tax to a range of business services, including advertising and custom software, and how that applies to services bought from a provider outside the state is a question for your accountant.
We raise these points so that you can take advice. Your attorney and accountant decide what applies to your business, and we build and write to what they specify. We do not promise rankings or lead numbers, and we do not publish reviews or testimonials that we did not receive.
With a free conversation about your business, your customers and what you want to achieve. If we think we can help, we send a written proposal with scope, timeline and a price in US dollars. If we think another kind of firm would serve you better, we say that.
Marketing engagements begin with an audit of your website, analytics and advertising accounts, then a plan for the first ninety days. Development projects begin with a short paid discovery, which produces a specification and estimate that are yours to keep. You have one named contact throughout.
Contracts are in English, with confidentiality and data protection agreements where needed, and payment is by bank transfer or card. Our digital marketing for US businesses page describes how we work with American clients generally, and our guide to choosing an agency lists the questions worth asking any provider.

Marketing is a monthly retainer in US dollars, sized to the channels and volume of work, with advertising budgets paid by you directly to the platforms. Websites, stores, software and apps are quoted as fixed-price projects after discovery, or as a monthly team rate where the scope will evolve. We do not publish prices because the work varies so widely, but every proposal states scope, timeline and cost in writing before you commit. Smaller organizations can begin with a single defined project.
