Hotel websites
Fast, mobile-first sites with room pages, real photographs, clear rates and a booking or enquiry button on every screen.
Websites, search, advertising, social media and review management that bring direct bookings to hotels, resorts, homestays and tour operators.
Quavento Technologies helps hotels, resorts, homestays and travel businesses fill rooms and tours without handing a share of every booking to a travel portal. We build hotel websites with clear booking paths, improve visibility on Google Search and Google Maps, run advertising and social media, and help owners manage reviews. Our team works from Pune with hospitality businesses across India and remotely with properties in the United States.
Most independent hotels have the same problem. Online travel agencies such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com and Expedia bring guests, but they charge a commission on every booking and keep the guest relationship. The hotel does not get the guest's email address, cannot easily invite them back, and competes on a screen where the next property is one swipe away.
A hotel cannot leave the portals, and should not. What it can do is make sure that guests who search for it by name, or who look for a hotel near a particular place, find the hotel's own website and can book or enquire directly. This page explains how.

By being easy to find and easy to book at the moment a guest is deciding. Many travellers discover a hotel on a portal and then search for it by name to check the hotel's own website, read reviews and look at photographs. If the website is slow, out of date or has no way to book, the guest returns to the portal and the commission is paid.
A good hotel website captures that guest. It shows rooms with honest photographs, states what is included, gives the rate or a clear way to ask for it, and offers a booking button, a phone number and a WhatsApp link on every page. A small reason to book direct, such as an early check-in, breakfast or the best available rate, helps where your portal agreements allow it.
Direct guests are also worth more over time, because you can contact them again.
Everything a guest asks before travelling. Each room type needs its own section with several photographs, the bed type, how many people it sleeps, the view and the amenities. The location needs a map, directions from the nearest highway, station or airport, and distances to the places guests are coming to visit.
Facilities such as parking, a restaurant, a pool, banquet space or wheelchair access should be stated plainly. Check-in and check-out times, cancellation terms and house rules belong on the site, not only in a booking confirmation.
Our work for Hotel Adhiras, on the Narayangaon to Ozar road near the Ozar Ganpati temple, shows the pattern. The site presents each room type with a booking button, links to the hotel's online booking listing, offers an enquiry form and a popup for quick questions, and gives directions for guests driving in from Pune, Mumbai and Nashik.
Very. A large share of hotel searches include a place: hotel near Ozar Ganpati, resort in Lonavala, hotel near the convention centre. Google answers these with a map and a list of properties drawn from Google Business Profiles, complete with rates, photographs and reviews.
A complete, accurate profile is therefore essential. The category, address, phone number, photographs, amenities and check-in times should all be filled in and kept current. Hotels can also appear in Google's hotel search with a link to their own website. Google offers free booking links there, so a hotel's direct rate can be shown beside portal rates, usually through its booking engine or a connectivity partner.
We set up and maintain these profiles and listings and make sure the hotel's own website is the one guests reach when they search for it by name.
Reviews decide bookings. Travellers read them on Google, Tripadvisor and the portals before they look at anything else, and a property's rating affects where it appears in results.
The basics are simple and often neglected. Reply to every review, good or bad, within a day or two. Thank guests by name where appropriate. When a guest complains, acknowledge the problem, say what has been done and invite them to contact the manager directly. A calm, specific reply reassures the next hundred people who read it far more than the complaint harms you.
Ask guests for feedback at checkout or by message afterwards. Never write reviews yourself or pay for them. That is illegal in both India and the United States and tends to be obvious. Our online reputation management team sets up the routine and drafts replies.
When demand is predictable and rooms would otherwise sit empty. Search ads work for guests who are already looking, for example people searching for hotels near a temple, a hill station or an event venue on particular dates. Social ads work for inspiration: a weekend offer shown to people in a nearby city, or a wedding package shown to people who are recently engaged.
Seasonality shapes everything. Pilgrimage traffic, school holidays, long weekends, the monsoon in the Western Ghats and the wedding season each call for a different campaign, planned weeks in advance. Budget should follow the calendar, not be spread evenly through the year.
We also protect your own name. Portals often advertise on a hotel's brand name, capturing guests who were already looking for you. A small campaign on your own name keeps those guests on your site.
Showing the place as it is. Travellers want to see the room they will sleep in, the view from the window, the breakfast, the pool at dusk and the road leading to the property. Short videos filmed on a phone often outperform polished promotional films, because they feel honest.
Local context matters as much as the property. A hotel near a temple, a fort or a beach should show how to reach it, the best time to visit and what else is nearby. This content is useful, gets shared and brings in people who are still planning.
Guests' own photographs and videos, shared with their permission, are the most persuasive of all. We plan content a month ahead, edit what your staff capture and reply to comments and messages, which are often booking enquiries in disguise.
In India, WhatsApp and phone calls drive a large share of bookings, especially for independent hotels, family travel and group bookings. Guests expect a fast reply, UPI payment options and rates that make clear how GST applies. MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and Booking.com dominate the portals.
In the United States, guests book online through Expedia, Booking.com and hotel websites, pay by card and expect instant confirmation. Two rules deserve attention. Since May 2025 a Federal Trade Commission rule has required short-term lodging prices to be shown with mandatory fees included, so a resort fee cannot appear only at checkout. And under the Americans with Disabilities Act, hotels must describe the accessible features of their rooms in enough detail for a guest to judge whether a room meets their needs, and the website itself should be accessible.
We build to the expectations of whichever market your guests come from, and often both.
Much of it applies, with a different centre. A tour operator sells itineraries, not rooms, so each tour needs its own page with the day-by-day plan, what is included and excluded, the price or price range, departure dates and group size. Trust matters even more, because the customer pays in advance for something that has not yet happened.
Registration details, real photographs from past trips, named guides and genuine reviews all reduce that risk. An enquiry form that asks for dates, group size and interests lets you reply with a specific proposal.
For operators handling many departures, booking and payment software saves hours of manual work. We build these as custom systems or connect existing booking platforms to the website.
With the foundations: a website that loads fast and lets guests book or enquire, and a complete Google Business Profile. These two serve every guest who is already looking for you. Our website development for hotels and travel businesses work covers the first, and local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation the second.
Reviews come next, because they influence every other channel. Advertising and social media follow once the basics convert visitors into bookings, since paying for traffic to a weak website wastes money.
We usually suggest one step at a time, each with a written scope and price, and we report on enquiries and bookings, not on likes.
We work with hotels & travel businesses in India from our office in Pune, and with businesses in the United States remotely, with calls in US business hours. The work is the same. The terms, platforms and rules differ, and we plan for both.

A hotel website is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope and paid in milestones. SEO, advertising, social media and review management run as monthly retainers, and advertising budgets are paid by you directly to the platforms. We quote in rupees for Indian properties and in US dollars for properties in the United States. We do not publish prices because a twelve-room lodge and a hundred-room resort need different things. The main factors are the number of room types, whether a booking engine is integrated, photography and how many channels we manage.
Yes. We connect a booking engine if you have one, or link each room to your online booking listing, and add call, WhatsApp and enquiry options. Which approach suits you depends on your property size and current systems.
No. Portals bring guests who would not otherwise find you. The aim is balance: keep portal visibility and make sure guests who search for your hotel by name can book directly on your own site.
We are based in Pune and can arrange photography for properties within reach. Elsewhere we supply a detailed shot list for a local photographer or your own staff and edit the results.
Yes, remotely from Pune with calls in US business hours. We do not have a US office. We build to US expectations, including accessible websites and prices shown with mandatory fees included.
Only reviews that break a platform's rules, such as fake or abusive ones, can be reported for removal. Genuine criticism stays, and we help you reply to it well, which often matters more.
Usually six to eight weeks once photographs and room details are available. Booking engine integration or several languages add time.
We track calls, WhatsApp clicks, enquiry forms and booking clicks from the website and report them monthly, alongside your Google profile views and review ratings.
