Quavento Technologies is a digital marketing and development agency that works with businesses in Miami, Florida. We design and build websites and online stores, develop custom software and mobile apps, and run SEO and advertising. Our team is in Pune, India. We work with Miami clients remotely, hold calls between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern Time and invoice in US dollars.
Miami is the most international city in the United States. Most of its residents speak Spanish at home. Its banks, law firms and trading companies face Latin America and the Caribbean as much as they face the rest of the country. Visitors arrive by the million for the beaches and the cruise ships, and buyers from abroad shape its property market.
Marketing here that assumes a single language and a local customer misses most of the opportunity. This page explains how we approach the city, what Florida's rules mean for a website, and how a remote team fits in.

Search in two languages, across South Florida and for customers searching from abroad.
Language, to begin with. In Miami-Dade County a clear majority of residents speak Spanish at home, and many conduct business, shop and search in it. English and Spanish mix freely, often in the same sentence. Haitian Creole is widely spoken, and Portuguese is heard throughout the tourist and shopping districts.
Then geography. Miami sits closer to Havana and Nassau than to Atlanta, and it functions as the commercial capital of a region that extends through the Caribbean and Latin America. Companies here sell to Bogota, Caracas, Sao Paulo and Santo Domingo as a matter of course.
And image. Miami is a city where appearance matters: in hospitality, fashion, real estate and personal services, customers expect a business to look the part. A website or a social presence that seems cheap or dated costs credibility quickly.
For most consumer businesses, yes, and for many others too. A clinic, law office, dealership, bank, contractor or restaurant in Miami-Dade serves customers who prefer Spanish, customers who prefer English and a great many who move between them. Offering one language loses part of the market.
Doing it well means two complete versions, not a translation plug-in. The Spanish should be natural for an audience drawn from Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua, Argentina and elsewhere, which calls for a neutral Latin American register and a writer who knows it. Each language has its own page addresses, and search engines are told which is which.
It extends beyond the website: forms, confirmation emails, text reminders, the Google Business Profile, replies to reviews and whoever answers the phone. Depending on your customers, Haitian Creole or Portuguese may deserve the same treatment. Our web design for Miami page explains how we build this.
By recognizing that they are searching from there. Property investors, patients seeking medical care, shoppers, students and business owners across Latin America look to Miami, and they begin online, in Spanish or Portuguese, on their own country's version of Google.
Reaching them takes content that answers their particular questions: how a foreign buyer purchases property, what a medical visit involves and costs, how to ship purchases home, how to set up a company. It takes prices and processes explained for someone unfamiliar with the United States, and contact through WhatsApp, which is the default across the region.
Trust is harder to establish at a distance, so credentials, licenses, real addresses and named people matter even more. Regulated fields such as real estate, law, healthcare and finance have advertising rules that apply regardless of where the reader lives, and we follow the wording your compliance or licensing adviser provides.
Into three counties and dozens of cities that behave as separate markets. Miami-Dade includes the City of Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Hialeah, Doral, Aventura, Kendall and Homestead. Broward, to the north, centers on Fort Lauderdale. Palm Beach County lies beyond.
Within Miami itself, neighborhoods have distinct identities and customers: Brickell with its banks and towers, Wynwood with galleries and technology firms, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, the Design District, Little Haiti. Traffic is heavy, and people stay close to home for everyday services.
A business should decide which of these it can truly serve. Google's map results favor what is near the searcher, so one location will be strong nearby and invisible across the county. Our SEO services in Miami page explains how to build from a home base outward, in both languages.
Miami has a high season and a storm season, and they barely overlap. From roughly December to April the weather is at its best, visitors and seasonal residents fill the city, and hospitality, retail and real estate do their strongest business. Major art, boat and music events fall in that window.
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June through November. As it approaches, demand rises for impact windows, shutters, roofing, generators and tree trimming. When a storm threatens, searches for preparation and, afterwards, for repair and insurance help surge within hours.
We plan for both. Winter campaigns are prepared in early autumn. Hurricane pages are built and ranking before June, with a response page that can be put at the top of a site in minutes. Every business should also have a plan for its own website and customer communication during a storm, which we help set up.
Accessibility leads the list. South Florida is one of the busiest places in the country for lawsuits claiming that a business website cannot be used by people with disabilities. Restaurants, hotels, shops and medical offices are frequent targets. We build and test to WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Text and telephone marketing is the second. Florida has its own telemarketing law on top of the federal one, with consent requirements and limits on when and how often consumers may be contacted. Any campaign that sends promotional texts should be set up with written consent and reviewed by counsel.
Licensed trades and professions come third. Florida requires contractors to include their state license number in advertising, and real estate, legal and medical advertising each have their own rules. Sales tax combines a state rate with a county surtax. We build to these requirements, and your advisers decide how they apply. We are developers, not attorneys.
Hospitality and tourism first: hotels, restaurants, clubs, tours, charters and the businesses that serve cruise passengers. Real estate follows, with developers, brokerages and property managers selling to buyers around the world. Healthcare is large, including clinics that draw patients from abroad.
International trade and logistics run through the port and the airport, supported by freight forwarders, customs brokers and distributors concentrated around Doral. Banks, wealth managers and law firms in Brickell serve Latin American clients. Fashion, swimwear and beauty brands sell from here, and a growing number of technology companies have moved in.
Underneath are the local services every city needs, made more urgent by the climate: air conditioning, roofing, pool care, pest control and marine services. Each of these groups needs something different online, and we describe our approach to the main ones on the pages linked from here.
India is nine and a half hours ahead of Miami during daylight saving time and ten and a half hours ahead in winter. Our afternoon and evening overlap with your morning, so we hold calls between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern. You have a named project manager, written updates and a weekly call if you want one.
Work requested at the end of your day is done overnight and is often ready when you start. Spanish-language content is written by native Spanish-speaking writers and reviewed by you before it is published.
We have no office in Miami or anywhere in the United States, and we do not claim one. Photography, video and events need someone present, and a local partner is the right choice for those. Our page for US businesses explains contracts, payment and ownership.
With whatever is losing customers now. If visitors reach your site and leave, or half of them cannot read it in their language, the site comes first. If the site is sound and few people find it, search and your Google profile are the priority. If you need customers this month, a narrow, bilingual advertising campaign with tracking is fastest.

We suggest one defined project at a time, with a written scope and a fixed price. Domains, accounts and code are held in your name. Our guide to choosing a digital marketing agency lists the questions any vendor should answer, and our portfolio shows finished projects.
Day 1
A 30-minute video call on an Eastern Time morning to understand your business, customers and languages.
Week 1
A review of your site, search presence in both languages and competitors, with a written scope and price.
Week 2
Agreement signed, accounts confirmed in your ownership and a project manager assigned.
Per scope
Work delivered in milestones on a private link, with written updates each week.
Ongoing
Launch, documentation handed over and a plan for the coming season.
Websites, stores, apps and software are quoted as a fixed price in US dollars against a written scope and paid in milestones. SEO and advertising management run as monthly retainers with stated deliverables, and advertising budgets are paid by you directly to the platforms. We do not publish prices because a neighborhood restaurant and an international brokerage need very different things. Each proposal itemizes the work, including the second language. We provide IRS Form W-8BEN-E for your records, and your accountant can confirm how payments to a foreign vendor should be documented.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
