Quavento Technologies builds and improves Shopify stores for businesses in Miami, Florida. We design themes, set up products and collections, configure languages, markets, shipping, tax and payments, add the apps a store needs and train your team to run it. We work remotely from Pune, India, hold calls between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern Time and quote in US dollars.
Miami brands are built on style and sold through social media. A swimwear label launches a collection with a shoot on the beach, sends pieces to a few creators and watches orders come in from Florida, New York, Mexico City and Medellin over the same weekend. The store has to look as good as the campaign and work in two languages.
Shopify is the natural platform for this, and it has the tools for international selling built in. This page explains how we set it up for Miami merchants and what tends to go wrong when it is done hastily.

Brands that sell their own products to consumers, especially those that grow through social media. Shopify handles hosting, security, payments and checkout, so a small team can concentrate on product and marketing, and it stays up when a post goes viral.
In Miami that includes swimwear and resort wear, activewear, jewelry and accessories, beauty and skincare, fragrance, home and design goods, Latin food and coffee, and independent boutiques in Wynwood, the Design District, Coral Gables and Miami Beach.
It is a weaker fit for trading companies with very large catalogs and customer-specific wholesale pricing held in an ERP. For those, our ecommerce development in Miami page describes other approaches.
With Shopify's own language features and a theme designed for both. Shopify lets a store publish several languages, each with its own addresses, and it handles the tags that tell search engines which is which. What it cannot do is write good Spanish or make a layout cope with longer text.
We design every template with both languages in view. Product titles, descriptions, size guides, policies, emails and checkout messages are all translated by native writers in a neutral Latin American register, not left to an automatic tool. Apps are a common gap: a reviews widget or a pop-up that stays in English spoils the experience, so we check each one.
The language switch sits where people expect it and keeps the customer on the same product. Customer emails and text messages go out in the language the customer shopped in. Your team reviews the Spanish before launch, since tone matters for a fashion brand as much as accuracy.
Through its markets feature, which lets one store present a tailored version to each country or region: language, currency, prices, duties and shipping. A customer in Mexico sees pesos and a total that includes import charges. A customer in the United States sees dollars and domestic shipping.
The decisions are commercial as much as technical. Which countries are worth serving directly? Should prices be converted or set by market? Who pays the duties? Collecting them at checkout means the customer knows the full cost and the parcel is not held for payment at delivery, which is what we usually recommend.
Some countries are best served through the freight forwarders their shoppers already use, and the store should make that easy too. Brazil needs Portuguese and its own tax identification on shipments. We start with the two or three countries your orders already come from, measure the results and add others. Export restrictions apply to some goods and destinations, and your counsel should confirm them.
So that the path from a post to a purchase is as short as possible. Products are synced to Instagram and TikTok so they can be tagged in posts and bought with a tap. A link in the profile leads to the collection being promoted, not the home page. WhatsApp is offered for questions, since many customers in Miami and across Latin America prefer it.
Creators and affiliates need proper tracking. Each gets a code or a link, the store attributes sales to it and commissions are calculated automatically. That also shows which partnerships pay and which merely look good.
Disclosure is a legal requirement. The Federal Trade Commission expects anyone who is paid or given free products to say so clearly in the post, and it holds the brand responsible as well as the creator. Reviews shown on the store must be genuine. We set up the tools, and we recommend a short written agreement with each creator that includes the disclosure.
As one system for the shop floor and the website. The point of sale runs on a tablet or phone and shares products, stock, customers and gift cards with the online store. A piece sold in the boutique comes off the website at once, and an online order can be collected or returned in person.
Visitors are a large part of the trade. A tourist who does not want to carry a purchase can have it shipped home from the counter, to another state or another country, with the right tax and duties applied. Their details are saved, with consent, so they can reorder online once they are back.
Miami's event calendar brings pop-ups: art week in December, the boat show, fashion and music events, hotel trunk shows. With a card reader, those sales run through the same inventory. Florida sales tax includes a county surtax, so the rate follows where the sale takes place, and we set up each location.
By rehearsing it. A launch concentrates a season's attention into a few hours, driven by a campaign, an email and several creators posting at once. If the store is slow or stock is wrong, the moment is lost.
We build the collection page in advance and keep it hidden until the time. Images are optimized, and anything that slows the first screen is removed. Inventory is checked against the warehouse count, with limits per customer for scarce pieces. Email and text subscribers are told the exact time, and early access can be given to the best customers.
On the day, discount codes are tested beforehand, including the ones given to creators. Shopify's infrastructure carries the traffic. What usually fails is a third-party app or an oversold size, so those are what we test. Afterwards we look at where shoppers dropped out and fix it before the next launch.
Everything that removes doubt. Swimwear is bought with more uncertainty about fit than almost any other clothing. A size chart with body and garment measurements, a note on whether each style runs small, photographs on several body types and reviews that state the buyer's size all reduce returns. Tops and bottoms should be easy to mix, with a clear way to buy a set.
Color accuracy matters under Miami light, so photographs are consistent and not over-edited. Fabric details, including sun protection ratings where they have been tested, are stated plainly.
Beauty products carry rules. Ingredients must be listed, a cosmetic cannot be claimed to treat a condition, and sunscreen is regulated as a drug. Heat and humidity can spoil formulas in transit, so we add seasonal shipping rules for sensitive items. We structure the page to carry the required information and keep claims within what your regulatory adviser approves.
They are slow because of images and apps. Fashion stores are heavy with photography and video, and each added app loads code on every page. We compress media, load it only when needed, limit fonts and remove apps that are unused or duplicated. The improvement is measured with Google's own tools, before and after.
Legally, three things stand out in Florida. Accessibility claims against online stores are common in South Florida's courts, so themes are built to WCAG 2.2 level AA and tested with a keyboard and screen reader in both languages. Promotional text messages fall under a strict state law as well as the federal one, so sign-up needs clear written consent.
And sales tax must be right: the state rate plus the county surtax, by delivery address, with exports handled as your accountant directs. Shopify calculates it once the registrations are configured. We set these up and recommend that your attorney and accountant review them before launch.
On a development store you can open at any time. We review your products, brand, customers by country and current sales, agree a written scope, design the main pages in both languages and build. Before launch we place test orders in each language and market, at the point of sale and with creator codes, and check tax, duties, emails and stock.
Calls are between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern. Our working day overlaps your morning and continues through your night, so changes requested in the afternoon are usually ready the next day. You own the Shopify account, the domain and the payment accounts.
We are based in Pune and have no office in Miami, so photography and video should be arranged locally. After launch we offer a monthly plan for improvements. Growth through search is covered on our SEO services in Miami page. See also the Miami overview and our national Shopify development page.

A Shopify build is quoted as a fixed price in US dollars against a written scope and paid in milestones. The price depends on whether the theme is custom or configured, the number of products, languages and markets, point of sale, social and affiliate setup and any integrations. Shopify's subscription, payment processing fees, apps and hardware are paid by you directly. Speed audits and ongoing improvements are available as fixed-price projects or a monthly plan. We do not publish prices because stores vary so much, but each proposal lists the work, including translation, and the running costs to expect.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
