Quavento Technologies is a digital marketing and development agency that works with businesses in Austin, Texas. We plan and run search, paid media, social and content marketing, and we design and build websites, online stores, custom software and mobile apps. We work remotely from Pune, India, hold calls between 8 am and 11 am Central Time and price in US dollars.
Austin has an unusual mix for a city its size. It is home to software companies at every stage, from two founders with a prototype to public companies. It has become a center for food, drink and wellness brands. It is the state capital, with the associations and advocacy groups that gather around a legislature. And it is a city known for live music, festivals and eating out, surrounded by suburbs that have grown very quickly.
Each of those needs something different from an agency. This page sets out what we do for each, how a remote engagement works and where we are not the right choice.

Everything that is done on a screen, which is nearly all of digital marketing and development. Strategy, keyword research, advertising accounts, analytics, design, code and content do not depend on being in the same city. What they depend on is understanding your customers, and that comes from asking good questions and listening to the answers.
What we cannot do is attend your events, photograph your premises or meet you for coffee on South Congress. If you need video shoots, event staffing or someone at your office every week, a local firm will serve you better, and some clients use a local photographer or videographer alongside us.
The practical effect of the distance is the time difference. Our working day in Pune covers the Texas night, so work requested in the afternoon is often ready the next morning. We keep a fixed window for calls, between 8 am and 11 am Central, and everything else runs through shared documents and a project board.
According to its stage. Before a company has found the customers who truly need its product, large marketing budgets are wasted. What an early company needs is a clear website that says what the product does and for whom, a way to capture interest, and a handful of experiments to learn which message and channel bring the right people.
Once the company knows its customer, marketing becomes a system. Search content answers the questions buyers ask before they know the product exists. Paid campaigns on search and LinkedIn reach defined roles in defined kinds of company. Comparison and integration pages catch buyers who are evaluating. Email and in-product messages turn trials into paying accounts.
We measure by pipeline and revenue, connecting the website and advertising to your CRM so that a lead can be followed to a closed deal. Founders are often asked by investors for numbers such as the cost of acquiring a customer, and we set up reporting that produces them honestly. Our SEO for Austin page covers search for software companies in more depth.
A store that converts and a plan for the second purchase. Austin has produced a long line of food, drink, personal care and wellness brands, many of which began at a farmers market or in a single grocery store and now sell nationally, both through retailers and directly online.
For direct sales, we build stores on Shopify with subscriptions, bundles and the product information shoppers want, including ingredients and nutrition. Paid social introduces the brand to new customers, and email and text messages bring them back. Since acquiring a customer often costs more than the first order earns, the arithmetic depends on repeat purchases, and we report on it that way.
Brands sold in stores also need a website that helps retail: a store locator, materials for buyers and campaigns timed to a retail launch in a region. Claims on food and supplement products are regulated by federal agencies, and we write within the wording your regulatory adviser approves. See Shopify development for Austin and ecommerce development for Austin.
With attention to members and to the calendar. As the capital of a large state, Austin is home to hundreds of trade associations, professional societies and advocacy organizations. Their year is shaped by membership renewals, an annual conference and, every other year, a legislative session.
An association website has to serve several audiences: members who need resources and renewals, prospective members weighing the benefits, the press and the public. We build sites connected to the association management system, so that members sign in once and see what their membership includes. Conference registration, sponsorship and continuing education are common additions.
Advocacy campaigns ask supporters to act, by contacting a legislator, signing a statement or attending a hearing. We build the pages and the email and social campaigns that drive that action. Advertising about political and social issues has its own authorization and disclosure requirements on the major platforms, and lobbying and political advertising are regulated by the state, so your counsel decides what disclosures apply.
They live on discovery. Visitors come to Austin for music, festivals, food and the lakes and hills nearby, and they decide where to eat and what to do on their phones, often the same day. Residents do the same.
For a restaurant, bar or food trailer, the essentials are an accurate Google Business Profile with current hours, a menu that can be read on a phone without downloading a file, good photographs and a simple way to book or order. Trailers that move or keep irregular hours need this more than anyone. Social media, especially short video, does much of the work of bringing new people in.
Venues and tour operators need event listings with structured data so that shows appear in search, ticketing that works under load and campaigns timed to the weeks when visitors plan. During the largest festivals the city fills and prices rise, and businesses that prepared their listings and advertising beforehand benefit most. We do not invent reviews or pay for them, and we help you ask for real ones.
By being found by people who have just arrived. The Austin area has added residents at a remarkable pace, and many of them settled in the suburbs to the north and south: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Kyle, Buda and San Marcos. A newcomer has no regular plumber, dentist, veterinarian or accountant, and searches for one.
Local search is how they find you. We set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, build pages for the services you offer and the places you really serve, and help you gather reviews steadily. Paid search and Google's Local Services Ads bring calls while organic rankings build.
New housing brings its own demand: landscaping, fencing, window coverings, pest control, pool building and, after a few summers, air conditioning repair. Older central neighborhoods need remodeling and foundation work. We track calls and forms back to their source so that you know which spending produced which jobs. Many trades are licensed by the state, and we show your licence where it applies.
Websites, stores, software and apps. A marketing website for a software company or a professional firm is usually built on Next.js or WordPress, designed for speed, accessibility and easy editing by your own staff. Our web design for Austin page describes the process.
Custom software covers the tools a business needs and cannot buy: a first version of a product for a founder, a customer portal, an internal dashboard, an integration between systems. We describe that work on our custom software for Austin page, and iPhone and Android apps on our mobile app development for Austin page.
In every case you own what we build. The code is kept in your repository, accounts are in your company's name and our agreement assigns intellectual property to you on payment. If you later hire your own team or another agency, they can take over without asking our permission.
We would sooner say so now than disappoint you later. We have no office in Austin or anywhere in the United States, and we do not pretend to. Work that must be performed by people in the country, or by US citizens, is outside what we can take on, which rules out some government and defense contracts.
We do not handle export-controlled technical data, build medical device software or validated systems for regulated manufacturing, or take custody of bank customer data. Legal, tax, privacy and regulatory questions are decided by your attorney, accountant or compliance officer, and we build to what they specify.
We do not promise rankings, guarantee a number of leads or publish testimonials we did not receive. And we are not the cheapest option for a business that simply wants a template site by Friday. We are a good fit for companies that want careful work, plain reporting and a team that is still there a year later.
With a conversation about your business, at no charge. We ask what you sell, to whom, what you have tried and what a good result would look like. If we think we can help, we send a written proposal with scope, timeline and a price in US dollars.
Marketing engagements start with an audit of your website, analytics and advertising accounts, followed by a plan for the first ninety days. Development projects start with a short paid discovery that produces a specification and an estimate you can keep. Either way you have one named contact, a shared project board and a regular call.
Payment is by bank transfer or card against invoices, and contracts are in English under terms we agree together, with confidentiality and data protection agreements where needed. For a wider description of how we work with American clients, see our digital marketing for US businesses page, and our guide to choosing an agency lists questions to put to any firm you are considering.

Monthly
A monthly report in plain language and a call to agree what changes.
Marketing is a monthly retainer in US dollars, sized to the channels and volume of work, with advertising budgets paid by you directly to the platforms. Websites, stores, software and apps are quoted as fixed-price projects after discovery, or as a monthly team rate where the scope will evolve. We do not publish prices because the work varies so widely, but every proposal states the scope, timeline and cost in writing before you commit. Early-stage companies can start with a single small project.
