Brand protection
Your own name searches answered by your website, not by an agency taking commission.
Brand protection, destination and landmark search, Google Hotel Ads, YouTube and seasonal campaigns that bring direct bookings and enquiries, tracked through your booking engine.
Quavento Technologies manages Google Ads for hotels, resorts, homestays, tour operators and travel agencies. We run search campaigns on your brand and on destination searches, set up Google Hotel Ads through your booking engine partner, use YouTube and remarketing where they pay, and plan budgets around your seasons. Every campaign is tracked to bookings and enquiries, not just clicks. We work from Pune with hospitality businesses across India and remotely with businesses in the United States.
For a hotel, every booking that comes direct instead of through an online travel agency saves the agency's commission. Google is where many of those direct bookings start: a traveller searches for your name, for hotels near a landmark or for things to do at a destination. If your website appears clearly at that moment, with a good offer and an easy booking button, a share of them book with you.
This page explains which Google Ads campaigns work for hospitality businesses, how we time them and how we judge whether they are worth what they cost.

Because others often do. When travellers search for a hotel by name, online travel agencies and metasearch sites frequently place ads above the hotel's own website. A guest who already chose your hotel clicks the first result, books through an agency, and you pay commission on a booking that was yours.
A brand search campaign places your own ad at the top for searches of your name, with your direct booking link, a best-rate message where true, and benefits of booking direct such as flexible cancellation or a complimentary breakfast. Brand clicks are usually inexpensive because the ad is highly relevant.
Whether this pays depends on how often agencies appear on your name and how much commission you pay. We check your brand results before recommending it, and we track how many brand-search bookings come direct afterwards.
Many travellers do not know which hotel they want; they know where they are going. They search for hotels near a temple, a beach, a fort, an airport, a hospital or a business district, or for resorts in a hill station with a pool. Search campaigns can show your property for those searches, in the cities where travellers start their journeys.
Take a property like Hotel Adhiras, on the Narayangaon to Ozar road near the Ozar Ganpati temple, one of the Ashtavinayak shrines. Its guests are mostly pilgrims and families planning a visit from Pune, Mumbai and nearby towns. A campaign for that kind of property would target searches for hotels and stays near the temple and the town, shown to people in those feeder cities, and lead to a page with room types, a booking button and directions. We describe this to show the reasoning; we are not reporting advertising results for that client.
Landing pages matter as much as targeting. A traveller who searches for hotels near a landmark wants to see distance, directions and rooms immediately, not a generic home page.
When people search for hotels, Google shows a hotel panel with prices from several booking sites, including the hotel's own website where it is connected. Free booking links let a hotel's direct rate appear there at no cost; Hotel Ads are the paid version, appearing more prominently.
Both require a connection from your booking engine or channel manager to Google, usually through a partner that Google lists for hotel integrations. Many booking engines offer this; some charge for it. Once connected, your live rates and availability can appear alongside the agencies, and a guest can choose to book with you.
We help you check whether your booking engine supports the connection, set up the Hotel Center account and campaigns, and measure bookings. For many properties, simply enabling free booking links is the most valuable first step, and it costs nothing in advertising.
Hospitality demand rises and falls through the year, and advertising should follow it. Travellers book well before festivals, long weekends, school holidays, wedding seasons and peak tourist months, and the lead time varies by market: a weekend getaway may be booked days ahead, an international tour months ahead.
We build a calendar with you: when your peaks and troughs are, how far ahead guests book for each, and which events drive demand locally. Pilgrimage destinations, for example, see rises around specific festivals; business hotels follow conferences and the working week. Budgets increase ahead of peaks, and messages change to match.
In low seasons, advertising can support offers aimed at filling rooms, such as weekday rates, long-stay discounts or packages with meals and experiences, rather than being switched off entirely. We judge each period by bookings and revenue against what it cost.
YouTube suits resorts, destination properties and tour operators whose experience sells visually: pools, views, rooms, food, activities, landscapes. Short videos shown to people interested in travel in your feeder cities build awareness that later turns into searches for your name. It is less useful for a business hotel chosen mainly on location.
Performance Max campaigns use Google's automation to show ads across Search, YouTube, Maps, Display and Gmail. They can work well when conversion tracking is accurate and there are enough bookings for the system to learn from. With little data or poor tracking, they can spend on low-value placements. We use them with care, alongside rather than instead of controlled search campaigns.
Remarketing, which shows ads to people who visited your site and did not book, usually pays well in hospitality, because travellers compare options for days before deciding.
Through your booking engine. Most bookings complete on the booking engine's pages, which may sit on a different domain from your website. Tracking must follow the visitor across to the confirmation page and record the booking value, which requires setup in Google Tag Manager and support from the booking engine.
We also track enquiries and calls, which matter a great deal for groups, weddings, tours and properties where guests prefer to phone or message on WhatsApp. Calls from ads can be recorded with Google's call tracking; WhatsApp clicks and form submissions are recorded as events.
Results are then judged against the alternative. If an agency would charge a percentage of the booking value as commission, a direct booking won through Google Ads at a lower cost is a gain. Our analytics and CRO for hotels and travel businesses page covers the tracking in more detail.
The specific things that make a traveller choose: location relative to what they came for, room types, facilities that matter such as parking, a pool or family rooms, meals, and the benefits of booking direct. Real prices or offers, where accurate, improve click quality.
Every claim must be true and current. Rates and offers in ads must match what the guest sees on booking. In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission's rule on unfair or deceptive fees requires lodging businesses advertising prices to include mandatory fees, such as resort fees, in the price shown. Your counsel should confirm how it applies.
Ad extensions add useful detail: call buttons, location, links to rooms, offers and amenities. Reviews shown in ads must come from genuine guests on recognised platforms, never written or bought.
For tour operators, search campaigns target travellers looking for packages, tours and experiences at specific destinations, for example a Kashmir tour package from Pune or a Rajasthan family tour. These searches are competitive, so landing pages with clear itineraries, inclusions, prices from a stated level and a fast enquiry route matter.
Most tour sales start with an enquiry rather than an instant booking, so the conversion we track is a qualified enquiry, followed through to a confirmed booking in your CRM or quotation system. Follow-up speed is critical; a traveller who sends enquiries to several operators often books with the first good reply.
International campaigns for inbound tourism target travellers in other countries, in their languages and time zones, with landing pages and follow-up to match. Our software development for hotels and travel businesses page covers the quotation tools that make fast follow-up possible.
It begins with an audit of your current campaigns if any, your brand search results, booking engine and tracking, and a conversation about seasons, rates and the share of bookings you get from agencies today. We then propose a plan: which campaigns, which budgets by season, which landing pages and how results will be measured.
Tracking is set up and tested before spending. Campaigns launch in a focused form and are reviewed weekly during the first months, with search terms checked and irrelevant ones excluded. Monthly reports show spend, bookings, booking value, enquiries and cost compared with agency commission.
Ad accounts are created in your name with your billing, and we manage them with your permission. For our general methods, see our Google Ads management page and our wider performance marketing for hotels and travel businesses page.

Google Ads management is a monthly fee, with a setup fee covering tracking, account structure and Hotel Center connection. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to Google, and any booking engine or partner fees for Hotel Ads to those providers. The fee depends on the number of properties, campaigns and markets. We quote in rupees for Indian clients and US dollars for American clients, plan budgets around your seasons, and do not publish prices because scope varies.
