Search campaigns
Tightly themed keywords, negative keyword lists, ad copy tests and bids set against the value of a lead.
Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns managed in your own account, with tracking that shows which clicks became customers.
United States, served remotely from Pune, India
Quavento Technologies manages Google Ads and other pay-per-click advertising for businesses in the United States. Working remotely from Pune, India, we build and run Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube and Microsoft Ads campaigns, and we set up the tracking that tells you what each lead or sale actually cost.
Clicks in the US are among the most expensive in the world. In fields such as law, insurance, home services and software, a single click can cost many dollars and a wasted one hurts. Yet most accounts we review are leaking money in the same few ways: no reliable conversion tracking, broad keywords matching irrelevant searches, ads pointing at a generic home page and automated campaigns left to spend without supervision.
This page explains how paid search works in the US market, how to tell whether your account is healthy, where automation helps and where it needs a firm hand, and how we report results.

Tightly themed keywords, negative keyword lists, ad copy tests and bids set against the value of a lead.
Product feeds cleaned and structured, asset groups built by product line, and brand traffic kept separate.
Forms, calls, purchases and offline sales tracked with enhanced conversions and imports from your CRM.
Pages written for one offer and one audience, built fast and tested, so paid clicks have somewhere useful to land.
Campaigns on Bing and its partners, which reach an older, desktop-heavy US audience at lower cost per click.
Spend, leads, cost per lead and revenue on one page each month, with the reasons behind every change.
Cost per click is set by auction, and the US has more advertisers bidding with larger budgets than any other market. In competitive categories a small business is bidding against national chains, lead aggregators and venture-funded companies willing to lose money on the first sale.
That does not make advertising pointless. It makes precision essential. A local HVAC company cannot outbid a national brand on the term air conditioning. It can win on emergency AC repair in its own zip codes during a heat wave, with an ad that offers same-day service and a page with a tap-to-call button.
The accounts that work in the US share three habits: they track real outcomes, they narrow targeting to searches with buying intent, and they send traffic to pages built for the offer.
Start with tracking. If the account counts page views or button clicks as conversions, every decision built on that data is wrong. Conversions should be real events: a submitted form, a phone call of meaningful length, a purchase with its value.
Next, look at the search terms report, which shows what people typed before clicking. In a neglected account a large share of spend goes to searches that have nothing to do with the business: job seekers, students, people looking for free versions, competitors' customer service numbers. A maintained negative keyword list blocks them.
Then check structure. Campaigns should be organized by service or product line, with ads that match the keywords and landing pages that match the ads. Finally, location settings should target people in your service area, not people merely interested in it, which is a default that quietly wastes budget.
Google has moved steadily toward automation. Smart Bidding sets bids for each auction using signals an advertiser cannot see, and Performance Max runs a single campaign across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail and Maps. Used well, these tools outperform manual management. Used carelessly, they spend efficiently on the wrong thing.
Automation optimizes toward whatever you tell it is a conversion. Feed it low-quality leads and it will find more low-quality leads, cheaply. The remedy is better data: import which leads became customers from your CRM, assign values, and let the system chase revenue instead of form fills.
Performance Max also tends to claim credit for people who were already searching for your brand. We keep brand search in its own campaign, use brand exclusions and review the placement and search term insights Google provides, so you can see what the automation is really adding.
Browsers and privacy rules have made tracking less reliable than it was. Safari and Firefox limit cookies, ad blockers are common, and state privacy laws give users the right to opt out. If your tracking has not been updated in a few years, it is probably undercounting.
The current toolkit includes Google Analytics 4, the Google tag, enhanced conversions, which match hashed customer details to ad clicks, call tracking and offline conversion imports. Consent mode adjusts how tags behave when a visitor declines cookies. Together they recover much of what was lost.
Consider a law firm as an example. Only one in five form submissions might be a case the firm can take. If the ad platform is told only about form submissions, it optimizes for volume. If it is told which submissions became signed clients, it learns to find more of those. That single change often matters more than any bid adjustment. See our GA4 setup page.
Local Services Ads are a separate Google product for trades and professions such as plumbers, electricians, lawyers and real estate agents. They appear at the very top of the results with a Google verification badge, and you pay per lead, not per click.
To qualify, a business passes background, license and insurance checks. Ranking depends heavily on reviews, responsiveness and proximity. For many US home service companies these ads produce the cheapest leads available, and they complement ordinary search campaigns instead of replacing them.
We help with the application, profile setup and lead dispute process, and we track these leads alongside your other campaigns so you can compare cost per booked job.
Often, yes. Microsoft Advertising places ads on Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and inside Copilot. Its share of US search is far smaller than Google's, but its audience skews older, more often on desktop computers at work, and with higher household income. For B2B, financial services, healthcare and home improvement, that audience is valuable.
Fewer advertisers compete there, so clicks usually cost less. Campaigns can be imported from Google Ads and then adjusted. It rarely becomes the main channel, but for many accounts it adds leads at a lower cost than squeezing more out of Google.
A paid click is a question, and the landing page has to answer it at once. If the ad promised a free roof inspection in Dallas, the page should repeat that offer in its headline, show proof that the company is real and trusted, and make the next step obvious. Sending that click to a home page with ten menu options throws away the money spent on it.
Good landing pages are fast on mobile, focused on one action, honest about what happens after the form is submitted and free of distractions. Google also scores landing page experience as part of Quality Score, which affects how much you pay per click.
We design and build landing pages as part of campaign setup, and we test variations once there is enough traffic. More on that is on our conversion rate optimization and landing page design pages.
You should, without exception. Some agencies run clients' campaigns inside the agency's own account. When the client leaves, the account, its history and its learning stay behind, and the client starts again from zero. We consider that practice unacceptable.
We set up or work inside a Google Ads account that belongs to your business, linked to our manager account so we can work in it. Billing is on your card, so you see exactly what Google charges, separate from our fee. If we part ways, you unlink us and keep everything.
The same applies to Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Merchant Center and any call tracking numbers. Our Google Ads lead generation checklist lists what to verify in your own account.
Demand in the US moves with the calendar, and budgets should move with it. Tax preparers peak before April 15. Air conditioning repair follows the first heat wave. Retail builds from October through Cyber Monday. Insurance and benefits searches jump during open enrollment in the fall. We plan budgets by month from your own sales history instead of spreading spend evenly across the year.
Time of day matters as well. A campaign that covers the country spans several time zones, so an ad schedule set to business hours in New York switches off while customers in Los Angeles are still at work. We set schedules by the time zone of each region and reduce bids at hours when nobody is available to answer the phone, because a missed call from a paid click is money lost.
Because our working day runs ahead of yours, routine checks and changes are made overnight and are in place before your morning. Anything urgent during your business hours is handled in the call windows we keep for US clients.

Paid media management is a monthly fee in US dollars, separate from your advertising budget, which you pay directly to Google or Microsoft on your own card. The fee reflects the number of campaigns and platforms, how often creative and landing pages need refreshing and the reporting required. Account setup or a rebuild is a one-time fee. We set out both in the proposal along with the ad budget we believe is needed to produce meaningful data in your market. If your budget is too small for the cost per click in your category, we will say so before you spend it.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
| US time zone | Examples | Call window |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (ET) | New York, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina | 9 am to 1 pm ET |
| Central (CT) | Texas, Illinois, Tennessee | 8 am to 11 am CT |
| Mountain (MT) | Colorado, Utah, Arizona | 8 am to 10 am MT |

It depends on the cost per click in your industry and area and on how many leads you need. A useful starting point is a budget large enough to buy a few hundred relevant clicks a month, so there is enough data to learn from. We estimate this for your market in the proposal.
Ads can generate leads within days of launch. The first four to eight weeks are a learning period in which bids, keywords and ads are refined, and performance usually improves over the first three months.
We ask for an initial period of three months, which is roughly how long an account takes to stabilize. After that the agreement continues month to month with the notice period set out in writing.
Yes. The account belongs to you and is billed to your card. We work through a linked manager account that you can remove at any time, and you keep all campaign history and data.
Yes. We structure campaigns by location with separate budgets, ad copy and landing pages, and report on each location individually so you can see which markets are profitable.
Yes. Paid social on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok is managed by the same team, with shared tracking so results can be compared across platforms.
The usual causes are keywords matching irrelevant searches, location settings that reach people outside your area, a landing page that does not match the ad, or tracking that fails to record real leads. An account audit identifies which applies.
