Intent-first structure
Campaigns are organised by what searchers want and how ready they are to buy, so budgets go to high-intent searches first.
Show up at the exact moment people search for what you sell, and pay only for clicks that are likely to become enquiries, bookings and orders.
Search ads are different from almost every other form of advertising. You are not interrupting someone scrolling a feed; you are answering a question they have just typed into Google. Someone searching “CA firm for GST registration in Pune”, “best MBA colleges fees”, “3 BHK flats in Whitefield” or “industrial chiller supplier Ahmedabad” has already told you what they want. That intent is why Google Search campaigns so often produce the highest-quality leads and sales of any paid channel.
But intent alone does not guarantee results. Search campaigns can waste large budgets on irrelevant searches, compete in expensive auctions for keywords that never convert, send traffic to slow or generic landing pages, or optimise towards form submissions that sales teams later mark as junk. The difference between a profitable and an unprofitable search account usually lies in the details: keyword and match type choices, negative keywords, ad relevance, landing page experience, bidding strategy and, above all, accurate conversion tracking that tells Google which clicks actually turn into business.
Our Google Search ads management focuses on those details. We research how your customers search, structure campaigns around intent, write ads that match queries closely, review search terms every week, set up conversion tracking that includes offline sales and qualified leads from your CRM, and use Google’s smart bidding only once it has good data to learn from. Reports show cost per qualified lead, cost per sale and return on ad spend, not just clicks.

When someone searches on Google, an auction decides which ads appear and in what order. Your position depends on your bid and on ad rank factors such as expected click-through rate, ad relevance, landing page experience and the expected impact of assets. You pay when someone clicks. This means a relevant, well-structured campaign can win good positions without always paying the highest price.
Match types control how closely a search must relate to your keyword.
Negative keywords stop your ads from showing for irrelevant searches. Without them, a coaching institute might pay for “free notes PDF”, a manufacturer for “jobs”, a clinic for “home remedies” and a B2B supplier for retail shoppers. We build negative lists before launch based on research, then add to them weekly from the search terms report. In many accounts we audit, missing negatives are the single largest source of wasted spend.
Structure should reflect how you want to control budget and messaging. Common approaches separate brand and non-brand searches, group products or services with different margins or targets, split locations with different demand or costs and separate high-intent terms like “price” or “near me” from research terms. Over-fragmented accounts with many tiny ad groups starve smart bidding of data, so we aim for enough structure to control spend and messaging, without splitting data unnecessarily.
Often, yes. Brand campaigns are usually inexpensive, protect your position when competitors bid on your name, let you control messaging and sitelinks, and capture people who would otherwise click a competitor or aggregator. We measure brand campaigns separately so they do not inflate overall performance figures, and test reducing brand spend where organic results already capture most clicks.
Bidding on competitor brand names as keywords is generally allowed by Google, but using a competitor’s trademark in ad text can be restricted if they have filed a trademark complaint. Competitor campaigns often have lower click-through rates and higher costs, and they work best when you have a clear, honest advantage to communicate. We test them carefully and keep them separate for accurate measurement.
Responsive search ads combine up to fifteen headlines and four descriptions, and Google tests combinations. Strong ads include the main keyword theme, a clear benefit, proof such as years in business, certifications or ratings where genuine, pricing or offers where competitive, and a direct call to action. We pin headlines only where needed, for example for compliance text, and review asset performance to replace weak lines.
Assets make ads larger and more useful, and they contribute to ad rank. Sitelinks point to specific pages, callouts highlight benefits, structured snippets list services or brands, call assets add a phone number, location assets show your address and distance, price assets show packages and lead form assets let people submit details without visiting your site. We use every relevant asset type and keep them current.
Smart bidding optimises towards whatever you tell Google is a conversion. If every form submission counts equally, including spam and unqualified enquiries, Google will find more of those. We set up accurate tracking of calls, forms, WhatsApp clicks and purchases, add enhanced conversions through Google Tag Manager to improve measurement, and, where possible, import offline conversions from your CRM, such as qualified leads, site visits or closed deals. This teaches Google to find people who actually become customers.
Smart bidding uses Google’s machine learning to set bids for each auction based on the likelihood of conversion. Strategies include maximise conversions, target cost per acquisition, maximise conversion value and target return on ad spend. They perform well with enough reliable conversion data and sensible targets, and poorly when tracking is broken or targets are unrealistic. We start conservatively, adjust targets gradually and monitor search terms closely, since automated bidding can drift into irrelevant traffic.
Ads bring people to a page; the page converts them. A strong search landing page matches the search intent, loads quickly on mobile, states the offer clearly, shows proof, answers key questions and makes it easy to call, WhatsApp or submit a short form. Sending all traffic to the home page is one of the most common and costly mistakes. Our landing page design service builds pages specifically for campaigns.
Google Ads can target countries, states, cities, radiuses around an address and, in many cases, pincodes. We set location targeting to people in or regularly in your service area rather than people merely interested in it, unless your business serves visitors or migrants. Many Indians search in English, Hindi, Hinglish and regional languages; campaigns with regional language keywords and ads can reach audiences competitors ignore. Ad schedules can focus spend on hours when your team can answer calls.
Some categories have additional Google requirements in India. Financial services advertisers may need verification and must comply with local regulations; healthcare and medicine ads have restrictions; real estate, education and employment ads must be accurate; gambling and certain products are restricted or prohibited. Claims in ads must be truthful and supported. We check these requirements before launch to avoid disapprovals and account suspensions.
Budget should be based on the number of searches in your market, typical cost per click, your conversion rates and the value of a customer, rather than an arbitrary number. We estimate this with keyword research and, after launch, with real data. A small budget spread across too many keywords and locations rarely works; it is better to focus on the highest-intent segments and expand as results prove out. Ad spend is paid directly to Google from your account.
Search campaigns give precise control over keywords and messaging. Performance Max uses automation across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display and more. The two can run together, and exact-match Search keywords usually take priority when the query matches. For ecommerce, Google Shopping ads often outperform text ads for product searches. We decide the mix based on your goals and data.
These problems appear repeatedly in account audits.
Cost per lead only matters if leads become customers. We connect ads to your CRM using click identifiers, record lead stages such as qualified, visited or won, and import those outcomes back into Google Ads. Reports then show cost per qualified lead and revenue by campaign and keyword. Where CRM integration is not yet possible, regular sales feedback on lead quality still guides decisions. Our CRM development team can help connect the pieces.
Reports cover spend, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion, conversion value and return on ad spend by campaign, top search terms and new negatives, ad and asset performance, impression share lost to budget or rank, landing page performance, lead quality feedback and planned tests for next month. You also have full access to the Google Ads account at all times.
