Quavento Technologies sets up and manages email marketing and automation for businesses in the United States. Working remotely from Pune, India, we build welcome series, abandoned cart flows, lead nurture sequences and regular campaigns in platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign, and we look after the technical side that decides whether your email reaches the inbox at all.
Email remains the channel a business owns. An algorithm change can cut your social reach overnight and ad costs rise every year, but a list of people who asked to hear from you stays yours. For many online stores, email is one of the largest sources of repeat revenue. For service and B2B companies, it is how a lead who was not ready in March becomes a customer in September.
This page covers which automations to build first, how US law governs email and text messages, what the inbox providers now require of senders, and how a remote team runs your program.

Automations, often called flows, send the right message when a person does something. They run without anyone pressing send, and a handful of them typically produce more revenue than all the newsletters combined.
For an online store the order of priority is well established. A welcome series introduces the brand and delivers any sign-up offer. An abandoned cart flow reminds shoppers who added items and left. A post-purchase flow confirms the order, explains how to use the product and asks for a review. A win-back flow reaches customers who have not bought in a while.
For a service or B2B company the equivalents are a lead nurture sequence after an inquiry or download, a follow-up after a quote, onboarding for new clients and a re-engagement series. We build these first, then add campaigns on top.
The CAN-SPAM Act governs commercial email in the United States. Its core requirements are straightforward. The From line and subject must not be misleading. The message must include a valid physical postal address for the sender. It must offer a clear way to opt out, and opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days. Penalties apply per email, so mistakes on a large list are expensive.
Unlike laws in Europe and Canada, CAN-SPAM does not require prior consent to send commercial email. Even so, mailing people who never asked to hear from you is a poor idea. It draws spam complaints, which damage your ability to reach anyone. We build lists from people who opted in.
State privacy laws, starting with California's, add rights over personal data, including the right to have it deleted. If you also market to people in Canada or Europe, stricter consent rules apply. This is general information, not legal advice.
Text messages fall under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, which is far stricter than the email rules. You need prior express written consent before sending marketing texts, and the consent must be clear about what the person is signing up for. Consent cannot be a condition of purchase.
Messages should identify the sender, include opt-out instructions such as reply STOP, and respect quiet hours, which under federal rules means no messages before 8 am or after 9 pm in the recipient's local time. Some states set narrower windows. US carriers also require businesses sending from standard ten-digit numbers to register their brand and campaigns, a process known as 10DLC.
The TCPA allows individuals to sue, and class actions are common, so this is an area to get right from the start. We set up compliant sign-up forms, consent records, registration and opt-out handling, and we recommend having your attorney approve the consent language.
Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have enforced requirements for anyone sending email in bulk. Messages must be authenticated with SPF and DKIM, and the sending domain must publish a DMARC policy. Marketing messages must include a one-click unsubscribe, and spam complaint rates must stay low, with 0.3 percent as the level to stay under.
Senders who miss these standards see mail delayed, sent to spam or rejected. Many small businesses still send from a domain with no DMARC record, or through a platform's shared domain, without knowing it.
We check your DNS records, set up authentication on a dedicated sending subdomain, connect Google Postmaster Tools so you can see your reputation, and warm up new sending domains gradually. If your open rates fell sharply at some point, deliverability is the first thing we investigate.
Each suits a different kind of business. Klaviyo is built around ecommerce and connects deeply to Shopify and other store platforms, which makes it the usual choice for product brands. HubSpot combines email with a CRM and sales tools, and fits B2B and service companies that manage a pipeline. Mailchimp is simple and inexpensive for small lists and straightforward newsletters. ActiveCampaign offers strong automation at a moderate price.
Cost usually scales with the number of contacts, so list hygiene has a direct effect on your bill. We recommend a platform based on your sales process and budget, and we migrate lists, templates, flows and consent records when a move makes sense.
If you sell through Shopify, our Shopify development team makes sure store events, such as viewed product and started checkout, reach the email platform reliably.
Sending the same message to everyone is the quickest way to train people to ignore you. Segmentation divides the list by what you know: what someone bought, how recently, how much they spend, what they browsed and whether they open your email.
Take an outdoor gear retailer as an illustration. Customers who bought a tent in spring are good candidates for sleeping bags, not another tent. People who have not opened an email in six months should receive less mail, or a single re-engagement message, because continuing to send to them hurts deliverability for everyone else.
We build a small number of practical segments first, such as new subscribers, first-time buyers, repeat buyers, high spenders and lapsed customers, and add more only when the data supports it.
The subject line gets the open, and the first screen decides whether the reader continues. Most email in the US is read on a phone, so a message has a few seconds and a small screen. One clear idea, a short paragraph and one obvious button outperform a newsletter crammed with six stories.
We write in American English with a consistent voice, design templates that load quickly and remain readable with images turned off, and include a plain-text version. Accessibility counts here too: real text instead of text inside images, sufficient contrast and descriptive link wording.
We test one variable at a time, such as subject line, send time or offer, and keep what the numbers support. Because Apple's Mail Privacy Protection inflates open rates, we judge performance mainly on clicks, conversions and revenue per recipient.
Email is well suited to remote work, because everything happens inside the platform. We are added as users to your account, so the list, the data and the sending reputation remain yours.
Each month begins with a calendar of planned campaigns for your approval. Copy and designs are shared as previews you can open on your phone. Nothing is sent until you approve it, except automated flows that you have already signed off. Sends are scheduled for your customers' time zones, not ours.
A monthly report covers revenue or leads from email, list growth, deliverability and what we tested. Email works best alongside the other channels described on our content writing and conversion rate optimization pages.
The weeks around Thanksgiving are when US inboxes are fullest. Every retailer sends more, and the inbox providers respond by filtering more aggressively. A sender who has mailed lightly all year and suddenly triples volume in late November is likely to land in spam at the worst possible time.
Preparation starts in October. We raise sending volume gradually so providers see a steady pattern, clean out addresses that have not engaged in months and confirm that authentication records are in order. Segments are built in advance: loyal customers who get early access, recent browsers, and lapsed buyers who receive a single strong offer instead of a daily barrage.
The calendar is agreed with you ahead of time, including what is sent on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the last day for delivery before Christmas. Automated flows are reviewed so that a welcome discount does not undercut a sale price. After the season we compare revenue per recipient with the previous year and note what to repeat.
Week 1
A review of platform setup, authentication records, list health, existing flows and past results.
Weeks 1 to 2
SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, integrations checked, and sign-up forms with consent rebuilt where needed.
Weeks 2 to 5
Welcome, abandoned cart or lead nurture, post-purchase and win-back sequences written, designed and tested.
Monthly
A monthly plan of sends tied to your promotions, seasons and content, approved before the month starts.
Monthly
Ongoing tests of subject lines, timing and offers, with a monthly report on revenue, leads and list health.
Initial setup, including authentication, platform configuration and the core flows, is a fixed-price project in US dollars. Ongoing management is a monthly retainer that covers a set number of campaigns, flow maintenance, testing and reporting. The fee depends on how many emails and texts are sent each month and how much original design and copy is required. Your platform subscription and any SMS charges are billed to you by the provider. The account, the list and all templates stay in your ownership, and we can be removed as a user at any time.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.

| Eastern (ET) | New York, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina | 9 am to 1 pm ET |

| Pacific (PT) | California, Washington, Oregon | 8 am to 9 am PT, or 5 pm to 7 pm PT |
For most businesses, once or twice a week is sustainable, with more during major promotions. The right frequency is the one your audience tolerates without rising unsubscribes and complaints, which we monitor after every send.
US law does not require prior consent for commercial email, but sending to people who did not ask for it leads to spam complaints and poor deliverability. We recommend building the list from opt-ins only, and never buying lists.
Common causes are missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, sending to old or inactive addresses, a sudden jump in volume and high complaint rates. A deliverability audit identifies which applies and how to fix it.
Yes. Marketing texts in the US require prior express written consent under the TCPA, along with clear opt-out instructions and respect for quiet hours. We set up compliant consent capture and record keeping.
Yes. We migrate subscribers with their consent status, rebuild templates and flows, connect your store and warm up the new sending domain so deliverability is protected during the switch.
Our writers and designers, in American English and in your brand style. You approve every campaign before it is sent, and automated flows before they go live.
Mainly by clicks, conversions and revenue or leads per recipient, along with unsubscribe and complaint rates. Open rates are less reliable than they once were because of privacy features in Apple Mail.
