Strategy and calendar
Audience research, content pillars and a monthly calendar approved by you before anything is published.
Quavento Technologies runs social media marketing for brands that sell to customers in the United States. From our office in Pune, India, we plan content calendars, design posts, edit short video, write captions in American English, manage comments and messages, and run paid campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest.
Social media is where a US brand is judged between purchases. A prospective customer looks at your Instagram before booking, checks whether anyone answers comments and notices if the last post was eight months ago. A B2B buyer looks up the founder on LinkedIn. None of that shows up in a sales report, yet it shapes whether the sale happens.
This page explains how to choose platforms, what kind of content works for US audiences, what a remote team can and cannot produce, the disclosure rules that apply to influencer and employee posts, and how social results should be measured.

It depends on who you sell to. Facebook still has the largest and oldest audience in the US and remains the workhorse for local businesses, community groups and paid advertising. Instagram skews younger and visual, and is central for food, fashion, beauty, fitness and hospitality. TikTok drives discovery among people under 35 and increasingly beyond. LinkedIn is where B2B buying committees and job candidates look. Pinterest matters for home, wedding, craft and recipe categories, and YouTube works as both a social platform and a search engine.
Few businesses need all of them. Two platforms run well beat five run badly. We start by finding where your customers already spend time and where your competitors get real engagement, then recommend a short list.
Regional and local platforms deserve a mention too. Nextdoor reaches neighborhoods and suits home services. Reddit communities influence purchases in technology, finance and hobbies, though they punish obvious marketing.
Short video leads on every major platform. Reels, TikToks and Shorts receive more reach than static posts because the platforms push them. They do not need a film crew. A phone, good light and a person who knows the subject are enough, and overly polished video often performs worse because it looks like an ad.
US audiences respond to specifics and personality. A landscaper showing a before and after, a founder explaining why a product costs what it does, a bakery filming the 5 am bake: these work because they are real. Generic quote graphics and stock photos with a logo do not.
Humor and cultural references need care. Holidays such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, sports seasons and regional habits all shape what feels natural. We plan around the US calendar and check anything topical with you before it goes out.
By dividing the work honestly. We cannot film in your store or photograph your team, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we can do is everything around the raw material: strategy, scripts, shot lists, editing, motion graphics, design, captions, scheduling and analysis.
The usual arrangement is simple. Each month we send a shot list of short clips and photos to capture on a phone, with guidance on framing and light. Someone on your team spends an hour or two filming. You upload the files to a shared folder, and we turn them into a month of finished content. For brands that need professional footage we coordinate with a local videographer you hire.
Captions and scripts are written in US English by writers who follow American media daily, and nothing is published until you have approved it in the calendar.
The Federal Trade Commission requires that paid or incentivized endorsements be clearly disclosed. If a creator receives money, free products or any other benefit to post about your brand, the post must say so in a way viewers will notice, such as the platform's paid partnership label or a plain statement at the start of the caption. A hashtag buried at the end is not enough. The same applies to employees posting about their employer's products.
The FTC also finalized a rule in 2024 that bans fake reviews and testimonials, including reviews written by insiders without disclosure and paying for reviews that must be positive. Penalties can be substantial.
Giveaways and sweepstakes are regulated by state law and by each platform's promotion rules. They need official rules, eligibility terms and no purchase requirement. We prepare campaigns with these requirements in mind, and your attorney should review the terms of any contest.
Organic reach for business pages is low on most platforms, so posts reach only a fraction of your followers. Paid promotion is how content reaches new people at a predictable cost. The two work together: organic posts show what resonates, and the best performers become ads.
On Meta, campaigns now rely heavily on automated targeting, which means the creative does most of the work. We produce several variations of each ad, test them and shift budget to the winners. Tracking uses the Meta pixel together with the Conversions API, which sends events from your server and recovers data that browsers block.
LinkedIn is more expensive per click but lets you target by job title, company size and industry, which suits high-value B2B offers. TikTok and Pinterest can be very efficient for consumer products with strong visuals. Search advertising is covered on our Google Ads page.
Unanswered questions under a post are lost sales in public view. Community management means replying to comments, direct messages and reviews promptly and in the brand's voice.
We agree a response guide with you at the start: answers to common questions, tone, what we may say about prices and availability, and what must be passed to your staff. Routine questions we handle directly. Complaints, refund requests, legal matters and anything involving personal information are escalated to a named person on your team with a suggested reply.
Coverage is set to your time zone. Messages that arrive overnight are answered first thing in your morning.
On LinkedIn, people follow people more readily than they follow company pages. Posts from founders, executives and subject experts typically reach far more of the right audience than the same message from the brand account. An effective B2B program therefore supports a few individuals as well as the company page.
We interview those people, draft posts in their voice for them to approve and build a rhythm they can sustain. Content that works is specific and useful: a lesson from a real project, a clear opinion on an industry change, a short breakdown of how something is done. Sales pitches and reshared press releases do not.
Paid LinkedIn campaigns then put the strongest content, or an offer such as a guide or a demo, in front of the exact job titles you sell to.
Follower counts and likes are easy to report and say little about revenue. We track them, but they are not the headline. The measures that matter depend on the goal agreed at the start.
For awareness, we look at reach among the target audience and video views past the first few seconds. For consideration, saves, shares, profile visits and clicks to the site. For sales, leads and purchases tracked through to your analytics, using tagged links and platform pixels. For local businesses, calls, direction requests and bookings.
As an illustration, a boutique fitness studio might care about one number: trial class bookings that came from Instagram. Every piece of content and every ad is then judged by whether it moves that number. Reports say what worked, what did not and what we will change, in a page or two.
A large share of social video in the US is watched with the sound off, on public transport, at work or late at night. Captions therefore help everyone, and for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing they are essential. Every video we edit carries accurate, readable captions burned in or uploaded as a caption file, checked by a person instead of left to automatic transcription.
Images receive alternative text that describes what is shown, so people using screen readers are not left out. Text placed on graphics is kept large with strong contrast, and hashtags are written with each word capitalized so that screen readers pronounce them correctly. We avoid flashing effects that can trigger seizures.
None of this takes long once it is part of the routine, and it tends to improve results. Captioned videos hold attention longer, and described images are easier for the platforms to understand and recommend.

Social media management is a monthly retainer in US dollars. The fee depends on the number of platforms, the number of posts and videos each month, whether community management is included and how much paid advertising we manage. Advertising budgets are paid by you directly to the platforms. We ask for an initial three months, because it takes that long to learn what an audience responds to, and then continue month to month. Profiles, ad accounts and content all remain yours, and we work through business manager access that you can withdraw at any time.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
