B2B and LinkedIn content
Thought leadership and company updates for firms selling to businesses.
Quavento Technologies provides social media marketing for businesses in Chicago, Illinois. We plan the content, edit the video, design the graphics, write the captions, schedule the posts and report on what the work produced, from reach and engagement to bookings, orders and qualified enquiries. We work remotely from Pune, India, hold calls between 8 am and 11 am Central Time and bill in US dollars.
Chicago is a city of neighborhoods and of work. Its economy runs on finance, freight and logistics, manufacturing, food production, healthcare and education, and it has one of the strongest restaurant scenes in the country. People here are loyal to their neighborhood, their sports teams and their local businesses, and social media is where that loyalty is expressed.
This page explains how we approach social media for Chicago businesses of different kinds, what is realistic for a team working from India and what you can fairly expect. We do not promise followers, viral posts or a particular return.
For the full picture of what is included, see our Social Media Marketing overview, including Social Media Management and Social Media Strategy. We apply the same approach for hotels & travel businesses, manufacturers and financial services firms.

It depends on who you sell to. For consumer businesses, such as restaurants, shops, gyms and salons, Instagram and Facebook do most of the work, with TikTok adding reach among younger people. Facebook remains strong in the suburbs and in neighborhood and parish groups, and Instagram dominates discovery of food and things to do.
For businesses that sell to other businesses, LinkedIn matters most. Chicago has large concentrations of finance, insurance, consulting, logistics, manufacturing and technology firms, and decision makers read LinkedIn at their desks. YouTube serves businesses that teach, such as contractors, trainers and equipment makers.
We choose by looking at where your customers spend time and what competitors do, then commit to two or three platforms. A smaller set, posted steadily with real quality, outperforms accounts on every platform that nobody tends.
To build trust before a salesperson calls. Manufacturers, freight and logistics firms, financial services, food producers and professional firms sell to people who research suppliers carefully, and a company that shows what it knows and how it works has an advantage over one with a silent page.
We help the people inside the company share real expertise: short explanations of how a process works, answers to questions customers ask, updates from the plant or warehouse, team and safety milestones and commentary on industry news. Posts are written with the expert, reviewed by them and published under their own name or the company's.
We also use LinkedIn ads to reach specific job titles, industries and company sizes. Measurement connects posts and ads to your CRM, so that the numbers that count are conversations started and deals influenced, not likes. Sales cycles are long, and we are honest about how long it takes to see an effect.
Content that makes people hungry and gives them a reason to come this week. Chicago takes its food seriously, from deep dish and Italian beef to fine dining, neighborhood taquerias, bakeries and a lively brewery and cocktail scene. Customers decide on a phone, looking at photographs and videos first.
We plan content around the dishes, the people, the room and the neighborhood, with short videos of preparation, pours and plating. Stories carry specials, events and last-minute tables, with current hours and links to reserve or order. For seasonal places, such as patios, rooftops and markets, we time the push to the first warm weekend.
Reviews and tagged photographs from guests are valuable, and we help you invite and answer them honestly. We never write or buy reviews, which break platform rules and the law. Alcohol promotion is regulated by the platforms and by state rules, and we keep content within them.
By being specific about place. Chicago has seventy-seven community areas, from Wicker Park and Logan Square to Hyde Park, Pilsen, Bronzeville and Andersonville, and each has its own character and loyal residents. The suburbs, from Evanston and Oak Park to Naperville and Schaumburg, have identities of their own.
We use location tags, local landmarks, community events and neighborhood news, and promote posts to people within a few miles of your door. Partnerships with nearby businesses and local groups work well, and so do posts that show regulars and real streets. Local audiences notice detail that only a neighbor would know.
Because we are based in India, the local detail comes from you. A monthly call and a shared folder of photographs, stories and news give us what we need to write something that sounds as if it came from your block.
Strongly. Chicago's long winters and short, glorious summers decide when people go out, and a content calendar should follow them. Winter favors comfort food, indoor activities, gifts and services that deal with cold. Summer fills patios, beaches, festivals and street fairs, and brands compete hard for those few months.
Sports fandom is another major theme. Games, playoffs and rivalries create moments when the whole city is talking, and a well-timed post can join the conversation. We are careful with team names, logos and slogans, which are protected, and avoid implying an official connection or sponsorship.
Conventions and large events bring visitors, and businesses near the venues can reach them with timed posts and promoted content. We plan these moments in the calendar weeks ahead, so that content is approved and ready, and measure what each produced.
Our team sits in Pune, so we cannot walk through your plant, kitchen or office with a camera. What we can do is plan the content, write the scripts, edit the footage, design the graphics, write the captions, schedule everything and study the results. The raw clips come from you.
A monthly shot list goes to one person on your staff. For a manufacturer it might be a machine running, a shipment leaving or a technician explaining a part. For a restaurant it is the dish, the pass and the room. They film for an hour or two on a phone, upload the files, and we return finished posts for approval.
Approvals happen in a shared calendar, and our hours overlap with a Chicago morning, so changes are quick. A company that needs polished footage for a trade show or a recruiting film can hire a Chicago videographer, and we write the brief and cut the result.
By keeping content inside the rules and having a qualified person approve it. Chicago has major hospitals and health systems, universities and schools, and many law, accounting and financial firms. Each faces rules on advertising, privacy and what may be shown or claimed.
Healthcare providers must protect patient privacy, so we never post identifiable patient information without proper consent, and we avoid claims about results. Schools and universities handle student privacy and need permission for photographs of minors. Regulated professionals face limits on testimonials and promises, and posts may need labels.
Illinois also has a strict biometric privacy law, which matters for any feature that scans faces or fingerprints, such as some filters and attendance tools. We are a marketing team, not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice. Your organization should confirm privacy and advertising questions with a qualified Illinois attorney.
Organic reach is limited, so paid promotion is how content reaches new people at a predictable cost. We use it to put the best posts in front of people near your location or with the right job title or interests, and to promote offers, events and bookings.
We produce several versions of each ad, test them and move budget to the winners. Meta campaigns rely on automated targeting, so the creative does most of the work, and LinkedIn campaigns reach particular roles and industries. Tracking uses the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and server-side events, so that leads and orders are linked to the ad that produced them.
We keep budgets honest. We say what a test needs to be meaningful, report on cost per result and stop what does not work. For businesses that also want search traffic, see our Google Ads for Chicago, and our guide to in-house or agency social media explains how we split work with your team.
We count what the business can bank: qualified enquiries, quote requests, reservations, orders and applications. Tracking links, offer codes and analytics are set up first, so a post can be followed to a result, and a monthly report explains what we published, what worked and what changes.
The profiles, ad accounts and content are yours, and our access runs through business manager roles that you can withdraw at any time. We work from Pune, India, with no Chicago office, and we hold calls between 8 am and 11 am Central Time.

Social media management is a monthly retainer in US dollars, priced by platforms, volume of posts and video, community management and the size of any paid campaigns. LinkedIn work for a B2B firm is scoped separately from a restaurant's Instagram. Ad budgets are paid by you directly to the platforms. We ask for three months to learn what your audience responds to, then continue monthly, and we send a written proposal after a first call.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
| US time zone | Examples | Call window |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (ET) | New York, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina | 9 am to 1 pm ET |
| Central (CT) | Texas, Illinois, Tennessee | 8 am to 11 am CT |
| Mountain (MT) | Colorado, Utah, Arizona | 8 am to 10 am MT |
| Pacific (PT) | California, Washington, Oregon | 8 am to 9 am PT, or 5 pm to 7 pm PT |
