Swift and SwiftUI
We build with Apple’s modern language and UI framework, producing apps that are fast, safe and easier to maintain as iOS evolves.
Native Swift apps that feel at home on iPhone, meet Apple’s high standards for design and privacy, and pass App Store review without drama.
iPhone users in India are a smaller share of the smartphone market than Android users, but they are a highly valuable one. They include many premium shoppers, professionals, frequent travellers and decision-makers, and they tend to spend more on apps, subscriptions and in-app purchases. For businesses selling to international customers, especially in the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Singapore, iOS is often as important as Android, or more so.
iOS users also have high expectations. They notice when an app does not follow iOS conventions, when scrolling stutters, when text does not respect their preferred size, or when privacy prompts appear without explanation. Apple reviews every app and update before it reaches the App Store, checking design quality, privacy practices, payment rules and content. Apps that do not meet the App Store Review Guidelines are rejected, which can delay launches if the team is not prepared.
As an iOS app development company, we build native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI, following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and privacy expectations from the start. We handle everything from design and development to TestFlight beta testing, App Store Connect setup, privacy labels, review submission and post-launch updates for each new iOS release. We also take over existing iOS apps, modernise older Objective-C or UIKit code and add features such as widgets, Apple Pay, Sign in with Apple and Apple Watch companions where they add value.

Native iOS development suits apps where polish, performance and deep Apple integration matter: premium consumer brands, fintech and banking, health and fitness, media, travel, apps targeting international markets, and apps using advanced camera, AR, health data, widgets or Apple Watch. It is also a strong choice when your early adopters are mainly iPhone users.
If you need both platforms quickly on a single budget, cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native can be more efficient, sometimes with native modules for specific features.
Swift is Apple’s modern programming language: fast, expressive and designed to prevent many common programming errors. SwiftUI lets developers build interfaces with less code, adapts naturally to different screen sizes, dark mode and accessibility settings, and is the direction Apple is investing in. For some complex screens or older iOS versions, UIKit remains useful, and the two work together well. Existing Objective-C apps can be modernised gradually.
Every new app and update is reviewed by Apple before release. Common reasons for rejection include:
Apple’s rules depend on what you sell. Digital goods and services consumed in the app, such as premium features, subscriptions and digital content, generally must use Apple’s in-app purchase system, with Apple taking a commission. Physical goods and services used outside the app, such as products, food delivery, travel bookings or appointments, can use regular payment gateways and Apple Pay. Rules and regional exceptions evolve, so we confirm the correct approach for your business model before building.
Apple places strong emphasis on privacy. Apps must explain why they need access to location, camera, contacts, photos and other data, request permissions at the right moment, publish accurate privacy details in App Store Connect and ask permission through App Tracking Transparency before tracking users across other companies’ apps and websites. We design data collection to be minimal and transparent, which also helps compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and international laws such as GDPR.
iPhone users are used to particular patterns: tab bars at the bottom, swipe-back navigation, large titles, sheets, system share menus, haptic feedback and native date and picker controls. Apps that copy Android layouts or web pages onto iOS feel out of place. We design around Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines while keeping your brand distinctive. Our app UI/UX design team works across both platforms.
iPad support is valuable for apps used in retail, education, healthcare, field sales presentations, restaurants and enterprise settings. SwiftUI makes adaptive layouts easier, but good iPad apps use the larger screen properly with split views, sidebars and keyboard support rather than stretching the iPhone layout. We recommend iPad support when your users are likely to use it.
Home screen and lock screen widgets show useful information at a glance, such as account balances, order status or upcoming appointments. Live Activities show real-time progress, such as a delivery or cab on the way, on the lock screen and Dynamic Island. Apple Watch apps suit quick interactions, notifications, fitness and health. These features can increase engagement significantly, but only when they solve a real user need.
TestFlight is Apple’s beta testing service. Internal testers from your team can install new builds quickly, and external testers, such as selected customers, can join by invitation or public link after a brief beta review. Testers send feedback and screenshots directly, and crash reports are collected automatically. We use TestFlight throughout development so you can try the app on your own iPhone long before launch.
Your business needs an Apple Developer Program membership. For organisations, enrolment requires a D-U-N-S number and legal entity verification, which can take some time, so we recommend starting early. We then set up App Store Connect, prepare the app name, subtitle, description, keywords, screenshots, preview video, privacy details, age rating and support information, and submit for review. A phased release rolls updates out gradually to users with automatic updates enabled. Our app store optimisation service improves discoverability.
We store sensitive data in the Keychain, use Face ID or Touch ID for secure login where suitable, enforce encrypted network connections through App Transport Security, avoid embedding secrets in the app, validate purchases on the server and follow secure coding practices. Server-side controls remain essential, because the app itself can be inspected.
Many Indian businesses build apps for customers abroad. International iOS apps need localisation of text, dates, currencies and numbers, App Store listings in multiple languages and regions, compliance with local privacy laws, suitable payment options and support for different time zones. App Store Connect lets you choose which countries the app is available in and set region-specific pricing for in-app purchases.
Apple releases a major iOS version every year, usually in September, with betas from June. New versions can change behaviour, deprecate APIs and introduce new requirements, such as newer Xcode and SDK versions for App Store submissions. We test apps on beta versions, fix issues before public release and adopt useful new features. Our app maintenance service covers this yearly cycle.
These issues are common in apps we review.
Yes, iOS apps are built with Xcode, which runs only on macOS, and signing and submission require Apple’s tools. This is our responsibility as the development team. You only need an iPhone to test TestFlight builds and access to App Store Connect to review listings and releases.
If an app offers login through a third-party or social account, such as Google or Facebook, Apple generally expects an equivalent privacy-focused option, and Sign in with Apple is the usual way to meet this. Users can hide their real email address, which the back end must handle correctly when sending messages. Apps that use only their own account system or phone number login have more flexibility. We confirm the current rules for your login design during planning.
Costs depend on the number of screens and features, custom design and animation, iPad and Apple Watch support, back-end and admin panel needs, integrations, in-app purchases, offline and real-time features, localisation, security requirements and ongoing updates. The Apple Developer Program has a yearly fee. Our app development cost guide explains the main factors.
