Premium inventory access
Private marketplace deals with reputable publishers and streaming services place ads in brand-safe, high-quality environments.
Buy premium digital inventory across websites, apps, streaming TV, audio and digital billboards from one platform, with the controls large brands expect.
Programmatic advertising is the automated buying of digital ad space through software platforms rather than manual negotiation with each publisher. Using a demand-side platform (DSP), advertisers can reach audiences across thousands of websites and apps, streaming video and connected TV services, music and podcast platforms and even digital out-of-home screens, bidding in real time for each impression or buying premium inventory through private deals.
For brands with meaningful media budgets, programmatic offers advantages that walled-garden platforms such as Google Ads and Meta cannot fully match: access to premium news, entertainment and regional publishers; connected TV and streaming inventory; control over frequency across many sites; the ability to apply your own first-party data and third-party verification; and transparent reporting on where ads ran. It is widely used for brand awareness, product launches and reaching audiences at scale with consistent messaging.
Programmatic also carries risks: ad fraud, low-quality sites, poor viewability, opaque fees and brand safety issues if campaigns are not managed carefully. Our programmatic advertising agency service plans and runs campaigns through leading DSPs, builds audiences from first-party, contextual and partner data, secures premium inventory through private marketplace deals, applies brand safety and fraud protection, and reports on reach, viewability, attention and business outcomes. We recommend programmatic only when your goals and budgets make it the right tool.

When a person opens a website, app or streaming service, the publisher makes the ad space available through a supply-side platform. Advertisers’ demand-side platforms evaluate the impression, including the site, device, location and audience signals, and decide whether and how much to bid, all within milliseconds. The winning ad is shown. Beyond open auctions, advertisers can buy through private marketplaces with selected publishers, or programmatic guaranteed deals with reserved inventory at fixed prices.
The programmatic ecosystem has several parts.
Programmatic is most valuable for brands running awareness or consideration campaigns at scale, launching products nationally or regionally, wanting premium publisher or connected TV inventory, needing consistent frequency control across channels, or wanting to apply their own data outside Google and Meta. For small budgets or pure direct-response goals, platforms such as Google Ads and Meta are usually simpler and more efficient.
Connected TV (CTV) refers to television viewing through internet-connected smart TVs, streaming devices and apps. CTV advertising places video ads within streaming content on the big screen, typically non-skippable and viewed with sound. It combines television’s impact with digital targeting and measurement, and it is growing quickly in Indian households. CTV suits brand campaigns for automobiles, financial services, real estate, consumer goods and travel.
Digital out-of-home (DOOH) screens in malls, airports, metro stations, office buildings and roadside locations can increasingly be bought programmatically. Advertisers can choose screens by location and time, trigger ads based on conditions such as time of day or weather, and combine DOOH with mobile campaigns for the same audiences. Availability varies by city and network.
Targeting options include first-party data, such as customer lists and website visitors, used with consent; contextual targeting based on page content, which does not rely on personal data; audience segments from data partners based on interests and behaviour; location and device targeting; and lookalike modelling. As privacy rules tighten and third-party cookies become less reliable, contextual and first-party approaches are becoming more important.
The open web includes content that brands do not want to appear beside. We protect brand safety through inclusion lists of approved publishers, exclusion lists of unsuitable sites and apps, content category filters, keyword exclusions, private marketplace deals and independent verification tools that block unsafe impressions before bidding. Suitability settings are tailored to each brand’s sensitivity.
Ad fraud includes bots generating fake impressions and clicks, sites misrepresenting themselves, and apps generating hidden ad views. Protection includes buying from reputable supply sources, using verification partners that detect invalid traffic before and after bidding, monitoring unusual performance patterns and preferring supply paths that are authorised through industry standards such as ads.txt and sellers.json.
An impression is not necessarily seen. Viewability measures whether an ad had a chance to be seen, based on industry standards for the share of the ad visible on screen and the time it was visible. Low viewability means paying for ads no one saw. We monitor viewability, prefer placements and formats with strong viewability and optimise bids accordingly. Some campaigns also measure attention metrics that go beyond basic viewability.
Measurement depends on objectives. Awareness campaigns track reach, frequency, viewability, video completion rates and brand lift studies. Consideration campaigns track site visits, engagement and search lift. Performance campaigns track conversions, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend. Some partners offer footfall measurement for store visits. We agree measurement plans before launch, so results are judged against the right goals.
Costs include media, usually priced per thousand impressions, platform and data fees, verification fees and management fees. Premium inventory, connected TV and precise audience data cost more than open-exchange display. Most DSPs and premium deals have minimum spend expectations. We provide clear breakdowns of media and non-media costs so you can see how much of your budget actually buys impressions.
The same impression can often be bought through several intermediaries, each taking a fee. Supply path optimisation means buying through the most direct, efficient and transparent routes to publishers, reducing fees and fraud risk while improving the share of spend that reaches quality media. We review supply paths and favour direct and authorised sellers.
Programmatic supports many formats: standard display sizes, native ads that match the look of the page, rich media, online video, CTV video, audio spots and DOOH creatives. Dynamic creative optimisation can tailor messages by audience, location or context automatically. Creative quality and fit for each environment strongly affects results, so we provide specifications early and review creatives for each format.
Privacy regulations, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and changes to browser and device tracking affect how audiences are targeted and measured. Responsible programmatic relies more on consented first-party data, contextual targeting and aggregated measurement. We work with platforms and partners that follow applicable privacy requirements.
These problems are common in programmatic buying.
Programmatic often works alongside television, print, outdoor and walled-garden platforms. It can extend TV reach to streaming viewers, reinforce outdoor campaigns with mobile ads nearby, and build awareness that Google Search and remarketing campaigns then convert. We plan it as part of the overall media mix rather than in isolation.
Open auctions give broad reach but mixed quality. Private marketplaces are invitation-only auctions where selected advertisers bid on a publisher’s inventory, often with better placements and audience data. Programmatic guaranteed deals reserve a fixed volume of impressions at an agreed price, similar to a traditional media booking but delivered through a DSP. These options suit brands that need premium environments, predictable delivery or specific sponsorships, such as coverage during major sporting or entertainment events.
Music streaming and podcast platforms offer audio ads that reach listeners during commutes, workouts and household tasks, when screens are not in focus. Audio can be targeted by genre, time of day, location and audience segments, and companion banners can appear on screen. It suits brand building, local promotions and categories where voice and music help tell the story. Audio creatives should be short, clear and include the brand name early.
Yes, although it is more commonly used for awareness. Programmatic can drive conversions through retargeting, lookalike audiences built from customers, and prospecting on contextually relevant inventory, optimised toward website actions. Results depend on conversion tracking, audience quality and creative, and should be compared with walled-garden platforms on an equal basis, including view-through and incremental effects.
Yes. Programmatic can access Hindi and regional language news, entertainment and streaming inventory, and target by state, city or language. This helps brands reach audiences in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and regional markets with messages in their preferred language, often at lower costs than English-language premium inventory. Creatives should be produced natively in each language rather than simply translated.
Programmatic campaigns are usually planned per campaign flight or as a quarterly programme, with management fees and media costs agreed upfront. Minimum budgets apply depending on the platform and inventory.
