New York City, NY, United States, served remotely from Pune, India
Quavento Technologies manages Google Ads for businesses in New York City. We build and run Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Local Services campaigns inside your own Google Ads account, set up the tracking that shows which clicks became calls and customers, and report on cost per lead and revenue rather than on clicks. We work remotely from Pune, India, hold calls between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern Time and bill in US dollars.
New York is among the most expensive places in the country to buy a click. Lawyers, real estate brokers, financial advisers, dentists, movers and contractors all bid against each other for the same searches, and the people searching are often in a hurry and holding a phone. A campaign that is only slightly careless pays for it quickly, and one that is run with care can still win, because the auction rewards relevance and a good landing page as well as the biggest budget.
This page explains how we approach Google Ads for a New York business, what we look at first and what you can reasonably expect. We do not promise rankings or a particular cost per lead, because no honest agency can promise either.
For the full picture of what is included, see our Paid Media & Performance Marketing overview, including Google Ads Management and Google Search Ads. We apply the same approach for hotels & travel businesses, contractors & home service businesses and manufacturers.

Because of how many businesses chase customers in a small, dense market. Manhattan alone holds an enormous number of firms and shops in a few square miles, and the other four boroughs add millions more residents and thousands of local businesses. When a searcher types a phrase like divorce lawyer, dentist or apartment cleaning, dozens of advertisers want that click.
That competition pushes prices up in the categories where a single customer is worth a lot. Legal services, real estate, finance, medical and dental care, immigration help and home renovation are the usual examples. If your average customer brings in a few hundred dollars, you cannot compete head-on for the most expensive phrases without a plan, and we say so at the start.
The answer is rarely a larger budget. It is better targeting, stronger ads, a landing page that turns a click into a call and careful tracking so that money is not spent on searches that never become customers. Smaller, more specific searches often cost much less and convert better than the broad terms everyone fights over.
By starting from where your customers really are. A plumber in Queens does not need clicks from Staten Island. A Manhattan law firm may want clients from Brooklyn, Westchester and northern New Jersey who commute to the city. A restaurant in the Bronx wants people who can walk or take the subway, not people two boroughs away.
Google lets us choose locations by borough, ZIP code, radius and, for some campaigns, by named neighborhoods. We also set whether to reach people who are physically in your area or people who show interest in it, which matters a great deal for tourism, hotels and event venues where the searcher may be planning from another state or country.
We then watch the search terms and location reports to see where leads actually come from and adjust. Businesses that serve the whole tri-state area can build separate campaigns for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, each with its own budget and message, so that one area does not use up the money meant for another.
It is organized around intent, not around your own service list. We group keywords by what the searcher wants, write ads that echo their words and send each group to a page that answers the same question. Someone searching for emergency locksmith near me wants a phone number now. Someone searching for commercial lease lawyer wants to read about your experience first.
We use responsive search ads with plenty of distinct headlines so that Google can test combinations, and we pin the most important message where it must appear. Call assets, location assets, price assets and sitelinks are added where they help. Negative keywords are built from day one and extended every week from the search terms report, which is where the wasted money hides.
For high-value categories we separate brand, competitor and generic searches so that each can have its own budget and bid. Quality Score and ad relevance are checked, because a poor score makes every click more expensive. We make changes in small steps and note each one, so that we know what caused a result.
If your trade qualifies, usually yes. Local Services Ads appear at the very top of the results for many home and professional services, show a Google guarantee or verification badge and charge per lead rather than per click. Plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, movers, cleaners, some lawyers and other categories are eligible, though the list changes.
Getting approved takes work. Google checks the business license, insurance and background of the owner and staff, and the profile needs photographs, service areas and reviews. We help gather the documents, complete the profile and set a budget and schedule, then dispute leads that are clearly invalid, since Google credits some of them.
Local Services Ads and standard Search campaigns work well together. The first catches people ready to call a verified business, and the second covers searches and services the program does not. Our guide to Local Services Ads compared with Google Ads explains the trade-offs in more detail.
With a clean product feed and firm limits. Performance Max can show your ads across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display and Gmail from one campaign, and it can work well for stores with good product data and a clear conversion goal. Left alone, it may spend heavily on cheap, low-value clicks, including searches for your own brand that would have found you anyway.
For New York retailers, from boutiques in Soho to online sellers shipping nationwide, the feed is the foundation. Titles, descriptions, images, prices and availability must be accurate and rich. We fix feed errors in Merchant Center, set asset groups by product type and feed the campaign audience signals such as your customer list so that it learns faster.
We separate existing customers from new ones when we can, set a target return on ad spend that reflects your margins and check what share of conversions are brand searches. Where Performance Max hides too much, we run standard Shopping or Search alongside it so that you can see what is driving sales.
Because Google's automated bidding learns from the conversions you give it. If the only conversion is a page view, the system will find more people who view pages. If the conversion is a qualified phone call or a booked consultation, it will look for more of those. Weak tracking is the most common reason an account spends a lot and produces little.
We set up Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversions properly, add call tracking with a number that records whether a call lasted long enough to count, and use enhanced conversions to improve measurement while respecting privacy law. For firms that close deals offline, we import the closed deals back into Google Ads so that bidding learns from real revenue.
New York visitors often switch between a phone, a laptop at work and a tablet at home, and a single customer may take several visits to decide. We look at assisted conversions, not just the last click, so that campaigns that start the journey are not unfairly cut. Our GA4 setup guide covers the basics.
Several, and they differ by profession. Lawyers in New York must follow the state's advertising rules, which include labeling and keeping copies of ads. Doctors, dentists and other licensed health professionals face limits on claims about results and on testimonials. Financial advisers answer to securities regulators and must avoid misleading performance claims.
Google also has its own policies. Healthcare, financial services and some other categories require certification or carry restrictions on what an ad may say. Ads are disapproved if they make unrealistic promises, and repeated problems can suspend an account. We build campaigns inside the rules and have your professional approve claims before they run.
We are an advertising and marketing team, not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice. The firm or practice is responsible for compliance with its own professional rules, and we recommend that you confirm what is permitted with your regulator or counsel before launch.
With campaigns timed to when people plan, not when they arrive. Visitors book hotels, tours and shows weeks or months ahead, often from another state or country, so location settings, languages and ad schedules differ from those for a neighborhood service business.
For a restaurant, venue or attraction, we combine Search ads on name and category searches with local inventory and booking links, keep the Google Business Profile accurate and use seasonal budgets that rise ahead of the holidays, major events and the summer. For a tour operator, we write ads in several languages and send each to a page that answers the practical questions first.
Hours, closures and event dates change often in this city, and an ad that sends someone to a closed door wastes a click and earns a bad review. We set a simple routine for updating promotions, hours and ad copy, and pause ads when you tell us a venue is shut.
You own the Google Ads account, the Analytics property and the billing card, and we work through manager access that you can remove whenever you like. If we ever part ways, the history stays with you, and that history is what makes the next agency's campaigns smarter. New York businesses change agencies often, so this matters.
We are based in Pune, India, and have no New York office. We learn your market from you, from the search data and from the competitors we study, and we do not pose as local experts. Calls are held between 9 am and 1 pm Eastern Time, and each month you get a written report with spend, leads, cost per lead and the changes we plan.

We charge a monthly management fee in US dollars, separate from the money you spend on clicks, which you pay to Google on your own card. The fee reflects the number of campaigns, the boroughs or areas covered, how often ads and pages need work and the depth of reporting. Setting up or rebuilding an account is a one-time fee. Both appear in a written proposal after our first call, together with the budget we think New York's prices require. If that budget is out of reach for your category, we say so before you spend anything.
Our team works from Pune, India. We do not have a US office, so every project is run remotely with a named project manager, a weekly call and written updates. These are the hours we keep for calls with US clients.
