A page per service
Each service explained on its own page, so customers and search engines find exactly what they looked for.
Phone-first websites for contractors and home service businesses, with a page for every service, clear service areas and a call button on every screen.
Quavento Technologies designs and builds websites for contractors and home service businesses: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, solar, CCTV, pest control and similar trades. A contractor website we build tells a visitor in seconds what you do and where, proves that you are a real and qualified business, and makes calling or requesting a quote effortless. We work from Pune with Indian contractors directly and with businesses in the United States remotely.
A contractor's website has one job, which is to produce calls and quote requests from people in the service area. It is not a brochure and it does not need to win design awards. It needs to load fast on a phone, answer the customer's question and put a phone number under their thumb.
Many trade websites fail at exactly that. They open with a slideshow and a slogan, list twenty services in a single paragraph and hide the number on a contact page. This page sets out what a contractor website should contain, how we build one, and what we delivered for Shruti IT Service.

Two kinds of customer, in very different moods. The first has an emergency: no cooling in a heatwave, a leak through the ceiling, a power failure, a camera system down. This person is on a phone, stressed, and will call the first business that looks competent and available. They need to see the service, the area, the hours and a number, all without scrolling.
The second is planning: a new roof, a solar installation, rewiring, a CCTV system for a factory, an air conditioning replacement. This person compares two or three contractors over days or weeks. They read about the process, look at past projects, check qualifications and reviews, and then ask for a quote.
A good contractor site serves both. The top of every page handles the emergency. The body of the page handles the research. We design the two layers deliberately, and we decide with you which services fall into which group.
Because customers search for a specific job, not for a category. Somebody types water heater replacement, split AC gas refill or CCTV installation for a warehouse. A page devoted to that job matches the search, answers the questions that go with it and converts far better than a general services page.
Each service page follows a pattern that works. It opens with what the service is and the signs that you need it. It explains what happens during the visit, how long it usually takes, which brands or materials you work with and what affects the cost. It shows two or three photographs of that kind of job, a few relevant reviews and a short list of common questions. The call button and quote form sit beside it all.
The same pages serve as landing pages for advertising, which is why we build them before any campaign starts. Our landing page design page explains what makes such a page convert.
Plainly and truthfully. Visitors want to know whether you come to them, so the areas you serve should be named on the home page, in the footer and on a dedicated page with a map. A business that travels to its customers does not need to pretend it has an office in every town.
Where one area matters a great deal, a page for it is worthwhile, provided it says something real: the localities covered, typical response times, the kinds of property and problems you see there, and projects completed nearby. Fifty pages that differ only by the town name help nobody, and Google treats such pages as doorway content.
The website we built for Shruti IT Service handles this simply. The company has one office in Sinnar, Nashik, and works across several districts of Maharashtra. The site states the office address once and lists the service areas by district, so a customer in another district can see at a glance that the team will travel.
Evidence that the business is real, qualified and accountable. That begins with the basics: a full business name, a physical address or stated base, a landline or mobile number that is answered, and the names and faces of the people who run it.
Then come credentials. In the United States customers expect a state licence number, proof of insurance and bonding, and manufacturer certifications, and many states require the licence number to appear in advertising. In India customers look for GST registration, an electrical contractor's licence where the work requires one, manufacturer authorisations and, for solar, any government empanelment. We display only what you actually hold, exactly as it appears on the document.
Reviews and photographs do the rest. Real pictures of your team, vehicles and finished work are more convincing than any stock image. We quote reviews from your Google profile with a link to the source, which lets a visitor check them.
As little as possible, but the right things. Name, phone number, the service needed, the location and a line of description are enough to return a call. Every extra field loses some enquiries. The form we built for Shruti IT Service asks which service the customer wants and their budget, which lets the team prepare before calling back.
For planned work, a slightly longer form can help both sides: property type, approximate size, preferred date and an option to attach a photograph. A picture of the fuse board or the roof often saves a site visit.
The form must reach someone at once. We send each enquiry to the office by email and to a phone by WhatsApp or text message, and show the customer a confirmation saying when to expect a call. In the United States, marketing calls and texts fall under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, so the form carries a clear consent statement where follow-up by text is planned. In India the form explains how the details will be used, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Fast enough that a person standing in a flooded kitchen does not give up. Emergency customers are on mobile data and in a hurry, and each second of delay sends some of them back to the search results to call a competitor.
We keep contractor sites light. Photographs are compressed and loaded only as the visitor scrolls. There are no heavy sliders, no autoplaying video at the top and no stack of third-party widgets. The phone number and the first heading appear almost immediately. We test on a mid-range phone over a mobile connection, not on an office computer.
Speed helps twice, since Google uses page experience as one of its signals and advertising platforms reward fast landing pages with lower costs. For an existing site that is slow but otherwise sound, our website speed optimisation service may be all that is needed.
The ones your office already uses. In the United States many contractors run their business on field service software such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber, which offer online booking widgets and can receive leads from web forms. We connect the site so that a request becomes a job in the system without retyping.
In India the working tool is usually WhatsApp. We add a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with a prepared message naming the service, and can send form enquiries to a WhatsApp number or a shared sheet. Where a business has grown past that, a simple lead register or CRM keeps follow-ups from being forgotten.
Tracking is part of the build. Calls from the website, form submissions and WhatsApp clicks are recorded in analytics, and call tracking numbers can show which campaign produced each call. Without this, later decisions about advertising are guesswork.
Structured data, for a start. We mark up the site with the correct business type, such as electrician, plumber, HVAC business or roofing contractor, along with the address or service area, opening hours and services, so that search engines read the business correctly and connect the site to its Google profile.
Accessibility is built in. We follow WCAG 2.2 level AA: readable contrast, labelled form fields, described images and full keyboard access. For American contractors this also reduces legal exposure under the Americans with Disabilities Act, though no developer can certify legal compliance.
Claims are checked. Phrases such as licensed, insured, certified and authorised dealer appear only where they are true, and price or financing statements are worded as you would stand behind them. The site runs on secure hosting with daily backups, and the domain is registered in your name.
A website does not bring customers by existing. It needs to be found, which is the work described on our SEO for contractors page, and for immediate calls it can be paired with Google Ads for contractors. Both send people to the service pages we have just built.
The site should also grow with the business. New project photographs each month, a new service page when you add a line of work, updated licence details and fresh reviews keep it accurate. We set it up so that your office can add photographs and edit text, and we offer a small monthly plan for updates, backups and security.
Reviews feed the whole system, and our review management for contractors page covers that routine. The overview for the industry is on our contractors and home services page, and the general method behind our builds is under website development.

A contractor website is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope and paid in milestones. We quote in rupees for Indian businesses and in US dollars for American contractors. The price depends on the number of service and area pages, the forms and integrations required, whether we write the content and how many project photographs need preparing. Hosting, the domain and any field service or call tracking software are paid by you to those providers. We do not publish prices, because a one-van electrician and a multi-location HVAC company need different sites, but every proposal lists each item separately.
Usually five to seven weeks once we have your service details, credentials and photographs. A larger site with many service and area pages or software integrations takes longer.
A home page, a page for each main service, a service area page, a gallery, an about page and a contact page. For most trades that is between ten and twenty pages.

Yes. We set up a simple way for your office to upload photographs and edit text, and show your team how to use it at handover.
Only where you can say something real about your work there. A few useful area pages help. Dozens of near-identical pages do not, and search engines may treat them as spam.
Yes, exactly as they appear on your documents. We display only credentials you hold, since false claims are unlawful and easy for customers to check.
Yes, remotely from Pune, with calls in US business hours. We do not have a US office. Sites are written in American English and built to US accessibility expectations.
